INVEN's Reviews
This is the game that makes you forget about the absence of the new HOMM series. It shows attractive pixel graphics and packed with variety thanks to the strategic elements that were not in previous HOMMs. However, UI and somewhat insufficient map design needs to be improved. If they manage to overcome some shortcomings, you may not have to play HOMM3 anymore.

LOTR: Gollum is a prime example of the results of a game that relies only on IP's power without solid structure. In the devastated gameplay, only a few people would be intrigued about the story of the unlikable protagonist.

The game's concept and setting - a resistence running a gun shop in the dystopian cyberpunk world - were interesting. On the other hand, the shooting part is boring and store managing part is as lifeless as an empty can. Lastly, it is almost impossible to believe that the game is officially released because of so many bugs. It even made me feel like I paid to become a QA.

A new game that combines classic Zelda-like gameplay design and sci-fi story. While the adventure part is enough to enjoy, the lack of convenience feature makes it hard to believe that the game is released in 2022. Also, the bugs are scattered all over the place to the point where it is almost difficult to proceed the game. It needs to be improved quickly.

The world of vampires, the idea of implementing it as a single game was not bad. But the puzzles were unreasonable, and growth system seems failed to mean so much. Also, Poor graphics quality and lip sync interfere with immersion. Lastly, the story can be hard to follow if you are not familiar with WoD.

Hood: Outlaw and Legends is a multi-play game with a unique design, but lacks completeness in everything else. And that unique design is not very interesting too.

Laid-Back Camp - Virtual - Lake Motosu is a game that packs the whole experiences at Laid-Back Camp into a short playtime. There are few interactions in the game and those may disappoint you, but camping with Rin Shima itself makes you feel like you are in the animation.

In granting players a bit of freedom, the campaign of this latest title has lost too much in return—perhaps even the reputation it had built up until now and the potential for the future. Fortunately, the refreshing zombie mode managed to somewhat heal the disappointment.

Although there is still a strong fan base and a great concept, the game's completion is so poor that it is hard to believe that its release has been delayed for almost two years. In-game purchase elements that no one can understand further lower the value of the game.

A Batman family that couldn't get out of Arkhamverse's shadow. The game design structured around Co-op shows a lack of motivation. So many problems with monotonous combat, empty Gotham city, insufficient hero abilities, optimization issues and so on. A screenshot of Gotham city from photo-mode is the only thing that comforted me.

The mysterious worldbuilding of Control and Remedy’s signature presentation still shine through. However, repetitive mission structures, sluggish progression, and a steep early-game barrier make this surreal stage feel less captivating. While the fresh gimmicks and cooperative elements offer clear appeal, the game needs both stronger early engagement and more lasting motivation to truly stand out.

It’s great that the game retains the nostalgic feel of '90s Hong Kong, but the gameplay itself feels like something from console generations past. While it may not suit everyone, those with the right taste might still find it unexpectedly enjoyable.

The attempt to expand the "Dead by Daylight" universe with Supermassive's unique touch was a promising idea. However, the various issues within the game show that the synergy between these two talented developers didn’t fully reach its potential. Fans might find it worth a try, but for others, it may not leave much of an impression.

A plausible recipe, regrettable ingredient, miscooking. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League also presents attractive gameplay and story production, but an obsession with the directionless open world and the legacy of the Arkham series has ruined the game.

It has received high expectations from many fans, but it falls far short of surpassing the previous game that was created over the course of 10 years. Irrational matchmaking, lackluster content, and a UI that is unmatched in its inconvenience all raise concerns about the future of the Payday series itself.

While It is refreshing to implement the movement of gibbons with simple controls, the game's short playtime and repetitive gameplay remains regrettable. Wouldn't it have been more efficient if the message was implemented as an animation using their fairy tale-like visuals?

Its old fashioned graphics and weird movements are the most biggest wall for new comers. When you overcome those awkwardness, an elaborate combat system and high-speed battle await you. Single play modes are good but multi play environment is not.

Except for combat system, Daksburg is disappointing. short of contents and shallow systems to grow character makes you easily be sick of it.

'Wing of Darkness' has considerable quality among indie games, but it's too short to play deeply. You may feel the strength and the weakness of Japanese indie game styles while you play it.
