Little Hope has an interesting story but lacks as a good stand-alone horror title. The game is cinematic and the choices you make do influence the outcome of the game. Multiplayer is fun, but unfortunately, the game relies too much on jump scares which get annoying over time. Let's hope the next installment in the anthology is scarier than this one.

6.5 / 10.0 - Godfall
Nov 27, 2020

Godfall is a pretty game but features stale gameplay that just gets repetitive after a while. It lacks depth and fun loot to collect. The concept of the looter/slasher isn't bad, just not fleshed out enough.

The remaster of Spider-Man's 2018 adventure offers a range of impressive graphical upgrades but offers little extra compared to the PS4 original. The new Peter Parker is a welcome change for long-time Spider-Man fans as his looks come closer to the version we know from the comic books. Aside from that, the only thing that holds this game back is that it's only available if you buy the Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. A true shame for new players.

5 / 10.0 - XIII
Nov 23, 2020

This XIII Remake was supposed to allow fans of the original to relive their memories in a way that was suited to modern hardware and gameplay norms. Sadly, this game failed to deliver due to a questionable choice of art direction, last-gen controls, and many, many flaws and bugs that hamper the game.

Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory is a great collection for the most hardcore of fans. While the story doesn't progress the plot that much, the gameplay is fun and entertaining for the most part and shows off just how great the Kingdom Heart music really is.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition brings Vergil to the party. The new character gets his own share in the game and you get to complete the whole story as the katana-wielding demon slayer. It brings a whole new dimension to this already cool game. Next to that, the game has various next-gen upgrades like ray tracing and a higher framerate. You'll have to choose which one you want to activate, so a full next-gen experience is out of the question. Still, a worthy upgrade to a brutal game!

Demon's Souls is an amazing game to show off that the PS5 is a graphical powerhouse. The mechanics from the original are intact, just like the grim and mysterious atmosphere. This might be the best launch game on the PlayStation 5.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a Breath of the Wild prequel that offers some of the best Warriors gameplay we have seen so far. However, the game is not flawless as it suffers from some frustrating controls and framerate issues. However, if you are willing to look past that, enormous fun and adrenaline-driven experience remain.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla brings the third party to next-gen and a party it is. Take on the story of Eivor and travel to Brittania to conquer the land piece by piece. The game looks amazing and contains new RPG elements like building your settlement, pillaging, and a huge new skill tree to strengthen yourself. The story is compelling at that, but the action pushes the assassination to the background. The game suffers from a few minor bugs, but nothing too serious. This is simply a must-play from day one!

Spider-Man Miles Morales improves on the original in many ways thanks to the new hardware, amazing story, and characters. Being a bit shorter actually improves the pace, while the music gives Miles' adventure a unique style and personality.

8.8 / 10.0 - Astro's Playroom
Nov 6, 2020

Although Astro's Playroom does feature a few gimmicks it's undeniable that this game is an amazing showcase for the PS5's DualSense. All while being a great 3D-platformer Astro's Playroom shows not only a love for PlayStation's history and shines brightest when utilizing the fantastic haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

7.5 / 10.0 - Fuser
Nov 6, 2020

In a year in which festivals have gone extinct, Fuser brings them back in a major, digital way. While the gameplay can be quite difficult to master, it is really fun to mix and match the many different music styles. It would've been nice if the progression system was better though.

Yakuza Like a Dragon is a must-play for fans of the first hour. Side missions complement the main story in a major way thanks to the utter insanity of some of the stories. You'll need to have some patience though for some of the other mechanics in the game, which is disappointing.

Bakugan: Champions of Vestoria is a more than decent brawler that brings some interesting new ideas and mechanics to the brawls. Having your Brawler run around the battlefield chasing energy pads is a clever way to activate the player during battles. While the Story Mode tells a decent story, it isn't challenging enough to force you to use every possibility and variation available.

Mario Kart Live Home Circuit is magical, but not flawless. While being a bit pricey, the quality of the tech behind these karts can't be denied. It is a joy to race on your own courses, although finishing is always easy thanks to some small technical hiccups.

7.5 / 10.0 - Amnesia: Rebirth
Oct 31, 2020

Amnesia: Rebirth is an innovative horror title that dares to scare players and intrigues them with an interesting story. While the story can hold back on the horror aspect of the game and it's not as good as The Dark Descent. The combination of the horror, story and the new gameplay features makes this a worthy follow-up to The Dark Descent.

9 / 10.0 - Pikmin 3 Deluxe
Oct 28, 2020

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a complete game you tend to get from Nintendo. The graphics got a good brush-up and the controls are adjusted. However, there are still some small issues the game works smoothly. Next to that, the game has some new missions and you can play the entire game in a worthy split-screen co-op. This is a must-buy for every Switch owner, just because of the great co-op mode.
