DOOM Eternal The Ancient Gods Part Two is a great finale story-wise, but when it comes to gameplay it is rather disappointing. The few new enemies and mechanics feel shallow and the actual final boss fight is a flop compared to what we've gotten in Eternal and the previous installment of DOOM. So just like Doomguy, we'll patiently have to wait until we can get going again because there's an itch that needs scratching!

It Takes Two is an amazing game that keeps players on their toes with its impeccable pacing in both story and gameplay. This 3D platformer mixes genres every step of the way in a magical ride through different locals. At the center, though, is a great love story full of heartwarming moments and plenty of laughs to boot.

While the Rampage Mode was a bit disappointing, Monster Hunter Rise ultimately manages to incorporate the excellent gameplay of its predecessors while introducing the interesting new Wirebug mechanics. The game also brings back the interesting and often wonky weapon designs that many fans missed in Monster Hunter World. While graphics may have been sacrificed somewhat for this timed Switch Exclusive, Rise's personality more than makes up for it.

Capcom Arcade Stadium is a really cool collection of games from the past. All of the games can be played together with friends. There really is only one downside and that's the fact you can't play together online.

Bravely Default II returns to what gamers loved about the first installment while using the better hardware to upgrade the graphics. The return of the Brave/Default system, a wide variety of jobs, and the many interesting, outspoken characters are offset by quite a difficulty spike in story-related fights which too often require extensive grinding.

Super Mario 3D World already was a great game worth buying, but with the online coop and Bowser's Fury, it justifies another purchase on the Switch. The game looks and feels great, even with four players. It also brings a bit of a challenge for anyone trying to find all secrets but stays accessible for kids who just want to play. Bowser's Fury on the other hand feels a bit short and lacks a worthy coop. Still, this content is great to play, but don't expect a full adventure.

Little Nightmares 2 offers a fresh adventure with Mono while keeping Six one of the main protagonists. The game yet again successfully combines horror, suspense, and puzzle/platforming action in a sweet mix, you will never get enough of. The new elements like coop gameplay with Six give some fresh feeling to the game, but also make you wonder. Why is it not possible to play with a friend? In the meantime, the trial and error can frustrate you, but all over the game will make you want even more of this!

Destruction Allstars provides an interesting experience for a short time. The game doesn't have a lot of variation and lacks quite a bit of content. Since it's a free PS Plus game right now it's worth it to check it out, but if you have to pay full price for this game it's better to leave it on the roadside. Especially because of the shady microtransactions that are present in the game, which give an extra bitter taste to an experience that isn't amazing, to begin with.

Immortals Fenyx Rising A New God DLC focuses on the trials from the Greek gods but it could be more than just this. The mount from the main game almost got forgotten and the fights get little to no attention. Still, A New God offers 10 hours of extra puzzle-gameplay next to the main game. The puzzles are much more challenging than those in the main game too. Only for this fact, the content is a must-have for puzzle fanatics that wanted more. The fighters will have to wait for the other DLC packs to release.

This racing simulator isn't for the faint at heart. Without any real introduction or soft landing, you're expected to drive like a pro and be able to drive near-perfect laps. Without that, you're locked out of the main course, the career mode, and have to resort to riding single tracks. AI is hit-or-miss and races very aggressively. Definitely not a game for beginners or those looking for an arcade racer.

The Pathless is a really entertaining game from the creators of Abzû. The game lets you explore a vast world with a huntress and her eagle. Saving the world is no terrible job since the world is truly amazing, but the lack of enemies and the lack of unlockables don't really invite you to do. Where everything in the game is balanced really good from the puzzles to the boss fights, you get the feeling something is missing eventually. The game is great but could be much, much more than this.

While the complete edition is a fun blast from the past Scott Pilgrim vs The World The Game it is just that. It's a game from a different time that has some trouble keeping up with the new games in town. The addition of an online co-op is nice though.

Whilst nog being the most revolutionary entry in the series, Hitman 3 truly does deliver the best the new trilogy has to offer. With six stunning and diverse locations, plenty of opportunities to kill and all the finetuning, Hitman feels better than ever before. There are some minor technical flaws and bugs, but overall Hitman 3 is a worthy ending of this modern Hitman-era.

Fitness Boxing 2 is a decent fitness game that will get you to sweat, provided you can muster up the discipline. The game provides a good variety of exercises and incentives to come back each day. The best and worst part of Fitness Boxing is that it doesn't need any additional hardware but instead relies on joy-con movement, which isn't always very accurate. Fitness Boxing 2 is a good alternative to Ring Fit Adventure if you don't want any additional equipment

A Dontnod game without signature episodes and supernatural powers, but with an intriguing murder-mystery and tensions between all involved as protagonist Sam returns to his hometown to visit the funeral of his best friend - and his partner, Sam's ex-girlfriend. Dontnod introduces some interesting new concepts like the mind palace, but they are not fleshed out enough to be memorable.

Cyberpunk 2077 is, in all regards, a brilliant RPG. It offers everything you want but comes short in a few areas. The AI is dumber than a stump and police spawns are all over the place. Aside from that, the game would be near perfect if it wasn't for the many bugs and crashes you will encounter during playing. The game was released too soon and unfortunately, it's painfully obvious.

World of Warcraft is already 15 years old, but you won't notice that playing Shadowlands. The new expansion offers interesting new customization options through the Covenants, the new areas look stunning and Torghast adds a new challenge for players. While there is more focus on the story, it does mean a much more linear experience however and the new antagonist, The Jailer, hasn't convinced us yet. Hopefully, that changes as Shadowlands gets new content updates, such as the upcoming raids.

While it's a shame the game is just a port of the Switch version from last year, there is no denying this is one of the best JRPG's in recent memory. The game is excellent in almost every way. If you can't get the Switch version, this is the way to go.

The newest edition in the Let's Sing series brings 30 new songs to sing along to. The songs consist of several current stars and golden oldies. With the use of either a microphone or mobile phone, the setup is a breeze, and access to the songs and game modes is easy. All in all an accessible party game that could have benefitted from having access to the content of the previous editions.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is a refreshing mix between Assassin's Creed and Breath of the Wild. The cartoon style gives it a unique look, while the game combines Greek mythology with puzzles, battling epic enemies, and next-gen looks. The open world is one to remember, but the narration is one to forget at times. All said and done, this is a game that is not perfect, but deserves a spot between the big releases and definitely a spot in your console!
