8.5 / 10.0 - Shadow Warrior 3
Feb 28, 2022

Shadow Warrior 3 is a fantastic shooter that shows a great sense of focus. Its creative enemy designs, excellent progression, tight pacing, and satisfying combat continue to keep the series fresh. Lo Wang is better than ever and managed to make me laugh more than once. It’s held back by occasional bugs in both combat and traversal, but nothing that was too detrimental to the experience.

7.7 / 10.0 - ELEX II
Feb 28, 2022

ELEX II reels you in an immersive chaotic planet where you try and unite different factions against a new breed of invaders. Despite its stiff combat mechanics that we’re not used to anymore because other games have set the bar in this category, it truly is a huge improvement from its predecessor. Try not to die from fall damage once your jetpack fuel runs out.

7 / 10.0 - Hero's Hour
Feb 28, 2022

There are tons of strategies in Hero’s Hour and I feel like I barely scratched the surface. I really enjoy watching armies battle it out despite its steep learning curve at the beginning. But you’ll get the hang of it after hours of playing it. This is one of those games that I can plug in during my streams if I just want to chill and play some solo strategy. I would consider getting this for my phone, to be honest. If the devs can figure out how to port this on mobile, with the right attention, I can see it perform well in the long term.

Martha Is Dead is an excellent psychological-horror game with its unique take on the horror and mystery genre. Although there are a few bugs and a few tedious gameplay segments, it still holds a great experience for horror fans.

7 / 10.0 - Pants Quest
Feb 17, 2022

Pants Quest tells a fairly honest story about anxiety, procrastination, and the feeling of being stuck in your life. It suffers when it comes to gameplay due to some tedium, but manages to provide a worthwhile experience without overstaying its welcome. The pixel-art is gorgeous, and there’s a lot to like when it comes to environmental interaction.

4.5 / 10.0 - KINGDOM of the DEAD
Feb 10, 2022

Kingdom of The Dead is far from a polished game; with a unique art style and somewhat enticing gameplay, it delivers a bland experience for fans of the older Doom and Quake series. Filled with bugs and uninspired enemies, Kingdom of the Dead is far from the game that the developer is trying to market.

6.5 / 10.0 - Rustler
Feb 2, 2022

Rustler advertises itself as a parody of Grand Theft Auto with its subtitle as Grand Theft Horse. It does quite an excellent job of giving players that nostalgic vibe through its top-down style action-adventure game like the old Grand Theft Auto games. The world is gorgeous, and the music it comes along with to accompany you with your adventure.

7.5 / 10.0 - In Sound Mind
Jan 31, 2022

Rarely can you sit down with a horror game and watch it start out in one genre, jump to another, lounge in a third and then land with an amazing flourish. Even if you’re not a fan of “scary” games, give this one a chance. Step through the door and brave the mystery of Milton Haven.

Heavenly Bodies is a space ragdoll physics game that's a great couch co-op game. Put your teamwork to the test and solve simple to complex puzzles the longer you immerse yourselves in the game. Playing this solo has an added challenge and if you've mastered zero-gravity movement, then you may want to speedrun this game in the future.

Solar Ash is an emotional game with a lot of heart. It’s a feast for the eyes, with an incredible movement system, and a world built around your core moveset. The story isn’t as consistent but still wraps up nicely.

7 / 10.0 - The Last Friend
Oct 7, 2021

It’s been a while since we’ve seen an underrated arcade game with aesthetically pleasing visuals and a great soundtrack. For the casual players, The Last Friend may be your cup of tea. However, for those looking for a challenge, this game might not stick with you in the long run especially with the lack of replayability once you finish The Last Friend.

8.8 / 10.0 - Eastward
Oct 1, 2021

There’s no denying that the team over at Chucklefish pulled off Eastward’s art direction quite well with the game’s bizarre and retro elements. Eastward is for people who want to bring back their gaming nostalgia in the 80s and 90s era. At the same time, this game also captures an audience who prefer this kind of great storytelling without choking your machine’s specs.
