Slopecrashers is a beautiful, picturesque game made with love from a solo developer. Bringing you back to the SSX days, this game combines fun, quirky characters, epic courses, an upbeat soundtrack and various game modes to give you something fresh and unique to jam with your pals.

The Taiko no Tatsujin series offers hours of pure taiko drumming fun. The latest game is a great entry point for newcomers, with the Improvement Support mode helping them practice every available song and get them on track to becoming a taiko drum master.
Naturally, when I stumbled upon ‘Liberté’, developed by Superstatic and published by Anshar Publishing, I was intrigued. A deck-building roguelike set during the French Revolution with a supernatural twist sounded right up my alley. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed pretty quickly, even though there are some solid ideas here.
Totally Spies! – Cyber Mission provides a great interactive experience for fans of the franchise, allowing them to feel more strongly connected as it ties in with season seven of the cartoon. Though the graphics are different, I believe they are more beneficial to the gameplay presentation as opposed to being one-on-one with the cartoon.
The Beast Inside is great with interesting puzzles and a great storyline but the graphics let this version of the title down. I would love to see some touch-screen controls implemented and maybe fine-tune the controls more.
Metro Awakening VR is a dark, twisted spiritual journey that will have you questioning your sanity. I have experienced fear and panic that I never even knew that I had within me throughout my time with this incredible entry to the Metro series.
The slow pacing, along with unskippable story and dialogue, detracts from the experience. The game’s main redeeming quality is the distinctive, somewhat memorable aesthetics in certain chapters, like the Train, Noir, and Paper themes, which stand out from the rest. World of Goo 2 feels like a remastered version of the original game but lacks the charm and atmosphere of its predecessor.
The Dragon Quest III 2D-HD Remake is one of those rare remakes that totally respects the original while still making it feel fresh. Square Enix somehow managed to keep the heart of the game while upgrading it in all the right ways.
LEGO Horizon Adventures is a charming, refreshing, fun spin on the Horizon series. While not a faithful retelling, it brings a cheerful take on Aloy’s journey, turning her into a curious, lighthearted soul.
With the new additions, it will keep you amused for hours and who knows you might even be able to join my farm one day and learn how to not farm the land. The developers did an amazing job with creating just a great atmosphere and what feels like a brand new game from previous ones and I’m keen to keep sinking hours in.
Mario and Luigi: Brothership is better than some make it out to be. It has its downsides, like a lot of annoyingly long dialogue, the fighting getting a little repetitive or having to wait a period before the next island, but if you look past those few cons, there is genuinely a good time to be had.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a super enjoyable storyline that immerses you into the boots of Rook. The title is one of those titles that pulls you in and makes you want to keep playing.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has all the ingredients to make a fantastic game. However, following the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem film will likely put it into the same pile with all the other underwhelming titles.
The Life is Strange series has always done an excellent job of drawing you in and keeping you engaged with its riveting and impactful storytelling and characters. Seeing Max Caulfield again and what she’s been up to after so long will surely please longtime fans, but newcomers can still enjoy this game without playing the original.
Darkest Dungeon II is a gloomy tale of survival amidst loss. While its subject matter is grim, the overall game is an exciting take on the roguelike genre.
