Having come to the end of this lengthy analysis, all I can say is that I wish there were many more productions made with the same care as Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope. Ubisoft Milan's new work is qualitatively, and content-wise, to be commended in virtually every way.

Scorn was intended to be an extremely impactful experience, capable of transporting the player into a world that is, in its own way, astonishing.

The number '2' next to the word Overwatch is just a number, nothing more. Before the title can take the final form of an actual sequel, we should most likely wait until 2023. Changes to heroes, maps, game modes, and twists to Overwatch's economic model seem more like part of a major update. As a hero shooter, however, Overwatch 2 is still galvanising, and the shift to 5vs5 matches has created a new balance between strategy and brashness.

PC Building Simulator 2 is a legitimate sequel to the 2019 title, improving on the modes already present and adding elements that make the gameplay more enjoyable.

Lost Judgment was already a very good game on consoles and is even better now on PC, where a good conversion succeeds in making the computer the best platform on which to enjoy Yagami's second adventure.

Grounded is among the most enjoyable survival experiences of recent years, and it is almost strange to emphasise this given that the title was not even supposed to exist. Obsidian, albeit with a small team, has crafted a stylistically original product, not without flaws, but composed of all those qualities with which the American team has always distinguished itself with its video games: quality writing, design and effective world building.

Return to Monkey Island is exactly what one might expect: a graphic adventure that winks at the past while at the same time managing to bring something new to the genre. A pleasant journey in which to meet many old friends, with whom to have fun in an experience that is perhaps not too challenging, but nevertheless capable of entertaining in an authentic way.

Isonzo is a very good tactical online FPS, undoubtedly the best first-person shooter dedicated to World War I (or at least the most historically accurate). Despite this, however, the game suffers from clear balancing problems that undermine most of the games, as well as some technical issues that almost completely overshadow the very pleasing visual compartment. Having said that, if you love online FPSs and are looking for a title other than the classic 'run and gun', then Isonzo could really amuse you, especially with a close-knit team.

Serieal Cleaners is ultimately an inspired independent production. With an engaging and convincing plot, it offers narrative branches that wink at noir, a genre not always treated with care and respect. The stories of the four protagonists are intense and detailed, though not very original. The gameplay expands on what has been done in the past with the predecessor, but the artificial intelligence has not been properly implemented.

In conclusion, Soulstice is an inspired, enjoyable video game with an engaging narrative. The Sacred Realm of the Keidas is a wonderful and untamed place, and Ilden is a wonderfully depicted city even in tragedy. With an interesting game design and an engaging combat system, Soulstice proves to be a mature work. A few technical stumbling blocks here and there are worth mentioning, but it is nothing that compromises the actual enjoyability of the experience, which remains well paced and enjoyable throughout.

Metal Hellsing is a title that succeeds in combining FPS and rhythm game more than well, giving us an extremely adrenaline-fuelled and entertaining experience. The real highlight of the work, however, is not so much the gameplay, which is nevertheless valid and well thought-out, but a soundtrack created ad hoc of the highest value. An impressive work, absolutely essential for every metal lover and not to be underestimated by anyone else.

Conceived as an obvious commercial gimmick due to the popularity the work quickly gained, The Last of Us Part 1 is anything but a dishonest and lazily developed piece of work. It is an immense act of love towards fans; a way to match, and in some cases come close to, the aesthetics, technique and gameplay of the astonishing The Last of Us Part 2.

If you've jumped at breakneck speed to this point to decide whether or not to buy Saints Row on the basis of the little number on the side, know that you've made a huge mistake. Volition's new production is a good restart for the series, both in terms of narrative and in terms of rethinking the gameplay. Saints Row's real flaws are all to be found in an endless series of bugs due to a failure to clean up the final code.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is the epitome of the experience Monolith Soft has gathered over these hectic years on Nintendo Switch, for better or worse. We have finally managed to achieve a technically more than presentable title that at the same time features a peculiar but effective combat system.

Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels is yet another excellent DLC dedicated to the Forza arcade franchise. Playground Games has taken one of the third chapter's best-loved add-ons and made it bigger, creating the biggest additional map ever for Forza Horizon. The fun is assured, as is the variety and the chance to drive the crazy fast Hot Wheels.

If you were hoping for a truly complete and well-made game, Stray makes no claim to be so. It feels like a perfect summer break, but with obvious flaws on the game design side. It's obviously not for everyone, and perhaps the low price on Steam at launch may tempt you to buy it, but take it as it comes: a nice diversion from the vast amount of games that take you hours and hours of gridning. Tackle it lightly and you won't be disappointed, or at least not entirely.
