Mario Petillo's Reviews
Slitterhead is a set of fascinating ideas, which with a better application from a technical point of view and with a larger budget would probably have taken flight. Unfortunately, Toyama fails to package a product that is completely enjoyable to play. There are extremely original aspects, Alex and Julee are the most interesting Unicum available and appreciating their skills will be the first thing you will do in the almost 15 hours of gameplay necessary to reach the conclusion.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is a fun game, but it's not enough. We appreciate the effort to adapt a sport that was based on other rules to a video game content that has to come to terms with the needs of the gameplay.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, as we said, is a nice breath of fresh air for its ability to create a mixture of different genres that, in a very simple and linear way, puts us in the shoes of a warrior called to defeat hordes of demons.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is a product that once again proves Atlus right. We may completely disagree with the work done in the re-edition phase and especially with this policy adopted by the Japanese publisher, which after a few years releases an improved version of something made shortly before, but in the end, we must admit that Vengeance is the result of an excellent correction of some of the excessive elements of the original.

SaGa is a niche series and Emerald Beyond does nothing to prove otherwise: the combat system deepens those JRPG mechanics that had already emerged in previous chapters and that are consolidated here, thanks to a strategic component that makes the clashes more fascinating.

South Park Snow Day tries to change the genre of reference of the franchise once again by moving towards the rogue-like: the cyclical setting, however, is sunk by an underlying repetitiveness and runs with little content and a battle system that is too confusing.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a lesson from Square-Enix to Square-Enix: Final Fantasy XVI and Naoki Yoshida pale in the face of the construction of gameplay and everything beyond Rebirth's narrative. From moving around with the Chocobo to exploring a huge world, to think that this will only be the second chapter in a trilogy leaves us to imagine how huge the concluding one might be, which will give us a chance to explore everything again with Cid's Highwind.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League could have been saved, in its evaluation, by the narrative plot: beyond what is the goodness of writing of the protagonists, however, there is nothing else, because even the idiosyncrasies with the comic book counterparts clash before the eyes of passionate readers.

It is evident that Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 suffers on the one hand but satisfies on the other. Regarding the first aspect, we are faced with a huge problem: it is a lazy job, which brought Konami not too many hours of work, except for the choice of proposing artwork in the background of the 4:3 Metal Gear Solid; otherwise it was a matter of retrieving products already in the publisher's possession and putting them into a single collection

Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express modernizes a classic. However, the original additions did not always convince us.

Sea of Stars rejects the abundance of content at all costs and offers a memorable journey, which could have dared a little more on the narrative front, but lived by characters that we could not fail to appreciate.

Final Fantasy XVI, going by the sums, represents one of the most interesting and fascinating experiments on the part of the saga, which manages to raise the bar on the maturity of the narrative plot and to propose a gameplay structure capable of going to remodel the proposal of the last chapters.

Convergence offers a playful offer supported by a well-made gameplay - net of some roughness - and by a progression system for structured, which over the hours enriches a formula that starts a little with the brake pulled.
