Stellar Reach is a title that takes a long time to appreciate. Its learning curve is steep, but if you give it the right amount of attention, you will reap many rewards. The limitations of a project managed by a single developer remain, but James Miller's experience is evident in his latest project.

Bounty Star is a title that does not aim to impress with special effects: it proves that the value of a game is not based solely on its graphics, but also on its ability to offer a varied and well-balanced gaming experience. It manages to surprise with a very interesting gameplay system, characterised by more frenetic combat moments interspersed with quieter management moments, in which players are given space for strategy.

BALL x PIT has everything a good roguelite should offer: fun, speed, unique builds and continuous evolution. A title that feels fresh and guarantees hours of entertainment.

We're only at the beginning, but for now, we feel like giving Dispatch top marks across the board. The gameplay is never boring and brings just the right amount of variety to the narrative genre: it's hard to take your eyes off the screen when you have a team of trouble-making heroes at your disposal, ready to be sent out to solve emergencies around the city! The voice acting, writing and animations are simply fantastic. The story, a mix between The Boys and The Office, is irreverent, and we're curious to find out where it's going. We'll talk about it again when the adventure is over, but one thing is certain: we can't wait to continue this curious video game!

Tormented Souls 2 confirms that Dual Effect is not a flash in the pan, but a solid presence on the indie horror scene. The Chilean team has deeply understood what makes a survival horror game memorable: the atmosphere, the vulnerability and the gratification of overcoming the impossible. Despite some stiffness in the controls and some limitations in interactivity, the title remains an experience of rare intensity. It is a journey into terror that does not just scare, but reminds the player why survival horror is, first and foremost, a test of nerves and dedication.

Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition is a light-hearted and entertaining title that offers spectacular, action-packed races, but it doesn't have enough fuel in the tank to keep you busy for long. It also has no reference to the film series, so we can only recommend it to those who are fans of 2000s arcade games.

The Outer Worlds 2 is a bigger and more ambitious sequel, with elements that significantly improve on the already appealing formula of the first instalment. There are many stories, many possibilities, and many opportunities to tackle an impressive and highly entertaining RPG; however, it is a shame about the many issues plaguing the PS5 version, with bugs and crashes that risk compromising the adventure.

Halls of Torment is a surprising fusion of two worlds: the depth and atmosphere of Diablo meets the frenzy and accessibility of Survivors-like games. The result is an experience that captivates from the very first minutes and invites you to return game after game, searching for the perfect combination of skills, equipment and luck. Despite a few minor flaws related to balance and certain limitations in the progression system, Chasing Carrots' game stands out as one of the best representatives of the genre, capable of distinguishing itself and shining in its own right. It is a title that not only pays homage to the classics, but also demonstrates how it is possible to innovate while remaining faithful to one's inspirations.

Never change a winning team. PowerWash Simulator 2 refines what was already good in the past, offering a relaxing and satisfying experience. The only drawback is FuturLab's failure to experiment with new gameplay features.

Once Upon A KATAMARI is, ultimately, a successful and intelligent celebration of the original concept, capable of combining nostalgia and novelty with a lightness that does not detract from the depth hidden beneath the playful surface. It's a game that smiles and asks for little, but can convince even the novice to stay glued to the screen to see how big they can make their Katamari; those who loved the series in the past will find many reasons to smile, while those approaching it for the first time will discover a formula that is accessible but surprisingly rich in nuances. If you are looking for an experience that alternates between relaxed moments and frenetic races, with a catchy soundtrack and a multiplayer mode that turns chaos into competition, Once Upon A KATAMARI proves it has enough ideas and character to justify its return to the scene after so long.

Ninja Gaiden 4 had a difficult task: navigating the heavy legacy of a series that has made difficulty one of its trademarks while also satisfying a new audience looking for deep but accessible action. Yakumo and Ryu's mission was accomplished with flying colours, and the latest addition to the Team Ninja saga is an extremely entertaining action game, but with a combat system ready to be dissected by the most demanding fans.

Pokémon Legends ZA is a game designed to make you angry. Not because it's difficult or poorly designed: in terms of gameplay, even though it doesn't innovate much and instead relies on tried and tested formulas (real-time battles add a little extra excitement), it works. Aesthetically and technically, however, we are talking about a title that borders on indecency, and no, it cannot be blamed on the Nintendo Switch. ZA is a potentially very interesting video game, trapped inside a terrible shell.

NASCAR 25 achieves the most important goal of all for what is technically a debut in the series: it lays a rock-solid foundation for the future. The career mode and pit strategy need improvement, but overall it's a lot of fun and we recommend it to fans of oval track racing.

Yooka-Echo is a good game, full of charm and finally polished as it should have been from the start. It's not perfect, but it manages to reconcile fans of the genre with the idea of a classic 3D platformer adapted to modern times.

CloverPit seems to be the spiritual successor to Balatro: a roguelite based on gambling, which twists and expands the rules in an ingenious and entertaining way. The title offers hours of gameplay and pure entertainment. After winning a few times, however, it starts to feel a bit monotonous.

Keeper is the latest original work from Double Fine, which this time takes us into surreal atmospheres reminiscent of Salvador Dalí's paintings. We couldn't play a more unusual protagonist: we are, in fact, a living lighthouse, and it will be up to us to explore a world in search of rebirth. Of course, Keeper suffers from a few technical issues, but it is an experience that will delight players who are looking for original and relaxing works.

This year, for the first time in years, Just Dance introduces significant changes that alter the experience, preventing players from getting stuck in a rut when choosing what to do in their sessions. There is still little choice for those who pursue a more hardcore style of dancing, but it is certainly a step in the right direction.

Battlefield 6 is not the absolute masterpiece many had hoped for, but it does enough to reignite a rivalry and competition with Call of Duty that had been missing for too long. While the single-player campaign almost makes you wonder if it was really necessary, the multiplayer offers a very solid experience, with a lot of variety in content and a return to the past that everyone will enjoy. After the flop of BF 2042, the series needed to be reborn, and Battlefield 6 may just succeed in doing so.

Absolum, the latest work from Dotemu, is not only a beautifully polished side-scrolling beat 'em up, but also adds an extremely fun roguelike component to the classic beat 'em up, especially in co-op mode. The animations and character designs are meticulously crafted, as is the excellent soundtrack. Are you ready to get your hands dirty in a fantasy setting?

Supermassive Games has done an excellent job of picking up where Tarsier left off. Little Nightmares 3 brings back to the “light” a franchise that has been missing from the gaming scene for years. While sharing some flaws from the past, the new instalment in the series impresses with its well-designed online co-op mode, first-rate aesthetics and attractive budget price.
