Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny is a welcome remaster of a great PS2 title, arriving on today's platforms with several improvements. Although it still has some minor issues, fans of samurai action games will find this title fun and exciting.

9 / 10.0 - Monster Train 2
May 25, 2025

Monster Train 2 goes straight on the right track: the sequel to Shiny Shoes' deckbuilder improves on the previous game in every way, without wanting to reinvent the wheel at all costs. The formula is a winner, and the synergies between clans, cards and artefacts are fun and never make us feel like slaves to the RNG. And now on with a new run!

A nice blend of genres that makes environmental destruction its workhorse. The main story, although short, is enjoyable to play, but the gameplay struggles to achieve the depth necessary to go beyond a few hours of fun.

7 / 10.0 - Blades of Fire
May 20, 2025

Blades of Fire, which marks the return of MercurySteam, is something new and old at the same time: the Spanish team returns to the dark fantasy atmospheres of Castlevania - Lords of Shadows, but this time with an original ip, which in many ways is not quite up to date. We undoubtedly appreciate the attempt to find an original path for the gameplay, but Blades of Fire suffers in being a mixture of too many genres and titles. Sure, Blades of Fire has the courage to strike while the iron is hot. And we, pad in hand, can only answer the call of the anvil by picking up our weapons.

7 / 10.0 - The Precinct
May 13, 2025

The Precinct is a game that attempts to turn the tables by offering a GTA-style adventure in the shoes of the police. Although on paper the idea is interesting, in reality the good guys' part is not so exciting, although the narrative, artistic and driving aspects are to be commended. If you are looking for an unpretentious experience in the opposite direction to the classic criminal, The Precinct could be for you.

Age of Empires II Definitive Edition is exactly as we remembered it: a frighteningly beautiful, unmissable RTS, replete, moreover, with content after a decades-long support that now brings an almost embarrassing amount of gameplay hours to PS5. Plus, here's The Three Kingdoms, what is perhaps the strangest and yet most successful expansion in AOE2's entire history. Congratulations to all, long live Age of Empires.

The Midnight Walk is a gem that deserves to be experienced by all those who adore the Tim Burton-esque style or who desire a direct and immersive experience. Despite its price being uncompetitive in comparison to its length, Moonhood's production manages to carve out a place for itself in the current gaming landscape.

id Software has done it again this time. DOOM: The Dark Ages is a fun and satisfying title that succeeds in embracing a wide audience thanks to multiple accessibility options and an increased focus on the content on offer. We look forward to new content to satiate our thirst for hellish blood even more.

Spirit of the North 2 retains what already worked in its predecessor, while adding new ideas, not necessarily original, but which have shone in other works with the same introspective approach, such as its open world. Infuse Studio has finally created poetry in the form of a video game.

Revenge of the Savage Planet is a sequel that improves on its predecessor on many fronts, managing to keep the core of the original formula intact. The game is not without its flaws - its plot, while interesting, does not reach memorable heights and is peppered with too much unnecessary humour, and some of the game mechanics may be repetitive in the long run. However... well, it is entertaining enough.

7.5 / 10.0 - Towerborne
May 6, 2025

Despite still being in Early Access, Towerborne shows great potential. The mix of beat'em up, loot system and RPG component makes the Stoic title a very rewarding experience, especially when played in co-op. If you are willing to tolerate the typical problems of a game in development, Towerborne may already prove to be a worthy title.

8 / 10.0 - Best Served Cold
May 4, 2025

If you like the detective genre (e.g. you loved franchises like Ace Attorney), give Best Served Cold a chance: you are the bartender of a ‘speakeasy’, an establishment that illegally offers alcohol during the prohibition era. Your job is to please the customers so you can loosen their tongues between cocktails... while solving murky murder cases. Combine clues from conversations and make your own deductions. The title has a good storyline and a nice, well-rendered art direction that makes you really feel like you're behind the bar of an illegal bar, among jazz music, smoke and ice clinking in the glasses. A must try.

It is The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. It's called Remastered but it feels like a remake. It is huge, addictive, fun, exciting. Virtuos has polished it up and fixed it properly at the most critical points (apart from a few bugs that unfortunately remained). If you've never been to Cyrodiil, now is the time to do it.

8 / 10.0 - Skin Deep
May 3, 2025

Skin Deep is one of the most original immersive sims ever: it doesn't put us in the shoes of a tortured hero, but in the bare feet of Nina Pasadena, an insurance saleswoman tasked with saving space cats. Every mission can be accomplished in the craziest way we can conceive: it's not just about acting in stealth or hacking computers. Originality and improvisation are always rewarded. Skin Deep is definitely a breath of fresh air for the immersive sim genre.

7 / 10.0 - KIBORG
Apr 29, 2025

Kiborg is a title with straightforward gameplay. The alchemy between the roguelite genre and melee and TPS components has a very interesting potential on paper. Nevertheless, after a few hours the spectre of repetitiveness knocks at the door, bringing out the limits of a production that could perhaps have dared a little more.

Days Gone Remastered is a re-release that performs all in all well (while maintaining the flaws of the original work, such as AI and plot writing). Despite not representing a major technical and graphical leap like Horizon Zero Dawn, Climax and Bend Studio have managed to bring back an IP we never thought we'd see again. The additions are interesting and fitting, and allow the game to be enjoyed again by those who plucked it back in the day (at a more than honest price).

The team at Blue Brain Games has created perfect renditions of the challenging puzzles of the flat-screen version, sometimes difficult but fun to solve. It has some technical limitations, perhaps due to the transition from traditional to VR use, but the developers have nonetheless managed to convince us: The House of Da Vinci is a fine test for virtual reality.

9.4 / 10.0 - Forza Horizon 5
Apr 23, 2025

Forza Horizon 5 is flashy and vibrant. It's a great combination of arcade racing and simulation depth, all wrapped up in the diverse and expansive setting of Mexico. This is an unmissable iteration and the best title in the Horizon series thanks to its wide selection of cars, tracks and challenges to complete.

7 / 10.0 - Steel Seed
Apr 22, 2025

Steel Seed represents a nice compromise between inspiration and identity, between accessibility and depth. Its cyberpunk atmospheres reference the cornerstones of the genre, and the gameplay recalls (sometimes too much) some of the most appealing productions of recent years. Steel Seed nevertheless remains a nice step forward for our Storm in a Teacup.

7.9 / 10.0 - Centum
