Rally Arcade Classics is a title that blends nostalgia and depth, suitable for both casual players and rally enthusiasts. The lack of different rally stages and occasional repetitiveness make it a title recommended for the latter category of players we mentioned.

8 / 10.0 - NBA 2K26
Sep 10, 2025

NBA 2K26 offers the best gameplay in recent years thanks to its new physics engine and a shooting system that finally makes sense. Microtransactions remain a major issue, but those looking for authentic basketball will find a solid and satisfying experience.

The Order of the Giants is an add-on that is well worth checking out. It's not perfect, of course: the puzzles could have been more daring, and the balance between stealth and combat could have been refined further. But the writing, setting and overall pace deliver everything you would expect from an Indy adventure. Needless to say, this DLC is a must-buy for anyone who loved The Great Circle.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is exactly as we remembered it: a highly entertaining 3D platformer that shines on Switch 2. The Star-Crossed World DLC, included in the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, adds a few more levels, but that's it: don't expect a new challenge or a glimpse into the future of the series, as was the case with Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. In this case, you'll be spending €20 on an upgrade that will keep you entertained for a weekend, without offering anything particularly original - although it is still nice to look at.

7 / 10.0 - Metal Eden
Sep 3, 2025

Metal Eden is a game of contrasts. On the one hand, it has solid, fast-paced and entertaining gameplay, a varied and well-designed arsenal, original mechanics such as Core-Ripping and excellent technical presentation. On the other, it suffers from a campaign that is too short, a forgettable story, and few opportunities to explore or experiment outside the combat arenas. Those looking for a fast-paced, brutal, and uncompromising FPS will find Metal Eden to be an adrenaline-fuelled experience reminiscent of the great modern classics. But those looking for narrative depth or longevity will be disappointed.

Cronos: The New Dawn is the work that marks Bloober Team's true evolutionary leap. Despite obvious inspirations from pioneering titles in the genre, the Polish company's new IP manages to engage and offer original mechanics, including the ingenious union of enemies. Leaving aside a few animations that are not yet up to scratch and checkpoint management that could be improved, we feel compelled to reward the guys from Krakow and can't wait to see what they have in store for us in the future.

6.5 / 10.0 - Lost Soul Aside
Sep 2, 2025

Lost Soul Aside is more of a hack “n” slash than a Final Fantasy-inspired RPG. The story and characters are forgettable, but the journey offers some nice glimpses of the settings and impressive boss fights. Everything is based on combat, even if the gameplay fails to be as fast-paced and varied as we would have liked. Generally unpolished and lacking in personality, we recommend it only to super fans of button smashing and fantasy-themed fighting games.

8.5 / 10.0 - Hell Is Us
Sep 2, 2025

Hell is Us is a game that refuses to compromise: in terms of narrative, imagery, and even gameplay. Exploration is not just an end in itself, but becomes an allegory for Remi's search within his own soul and his origins, hidden by an enigma. We are aware that Hell is Us is not an experience suitable for everyone: of course, we enjoyed it very much, both in its investigation and combat phases, but some prefer to find more immediate content and easy gratification in a video game. However, sometimes experimentation is necessary to discover more about ourselves and the world around us.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is more than just a reboot: it is a tribute to the old titles in the series, but with a noteworthy evolution. For long-time fans, this is an opportunity to experience a new adventure in the company of Joe Musashi. For new players, on the other hand, it is an unmissable opportunity to discover why this series is so beloved. We are undoubtedly looking at one of the best 2D action games of the year.

Gears of War: Reloaded is a solid remaster of the already excellent remaster of the already excellent first and historic chapter of the series, which in this case has done the bare minimum - perhaps even less than the bare minimum. Perhaps there was no need for anything else, in fact, given the price at which it is offered, but in some respects the game shows its age, almost 20 years since its debut. It remains a monumental game, but one whose genre has already made great strides forward.

Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is a passionate tribute to Hideo Kojima's 2004 masterpiece. This new edition introduces several updates, especially in terms of graphics and controls. On the other hand, Konami's new work is faithful to the original to a fault, foregoing gameplay innovations that would have given players more freedom and immersion.

7 / 10.0 - Mind Over Magnet
Aug 18, 2025

Mind Over Magnet is an indie puzzle game based on magnetism. It's a simple yet ingenious idea that has allowed the creators to develop well-designed levels with a medium-high level of difficulty. Despite its short duration, puzzle lovers should definitely give this title a try thanks to its interesting and innovative game design.

Echoes of the End is a title that thrives on contrasts: ambitious but imperfect, technically uncertain but artistically inspired, linear but enriched by interesting mechanics. It's the classic game that not everyone will appreciate: those looking for a bug-free experience with every detail polished to perfection may find it frustrating, while those willing to forgive a few flaws in exchange for atmosphere and personality will find it a noteworthy experience.

8.7 / 10.0 - Heretic + Hexen
Aug 14, 2025

Heretic + Hexen is a beautiful collection. Both titles have been updated with modern controls, bonus content, and thoughtful changes to the core design that significantly improve and modernise the gameplay experience. It's worth remembering, however, that we're talking about FPS games from the 1990s, with all the elements and limitations of that era; consider this carefully before purchasing. In any case, these remain two great cult classics that have been restored.

Mafia: The Old Country aims to take Hangar 13's work back to its roots, both in terms of the anthropological and historical origins of the criminal organisation and those of the video game franchise. The work done is commendable: we were captivated by a story and characters that were very well written. But what fascinated us even more was the historically accurate rendering of the setting and the passion with which the American developers committed themselves to conveying a period so full of colour, but also of shadows. Of course, we would have liked to lose ourselves even more deeply in this beautifully painted world, but Mafia: The Old Country does not want to lose its way and wants to accomplish its mission in the best possible way.

Compared to the first chapter, The Hinokami Chronicles 2 brings a significant leap forward to our screens and a total approach to the Demon Slayer anime, complete with breathtaking scenes, battles and animations, bringing us up to speed and preparing us for the final narrative arc, which promises great twists and turns.

The technical evolution of Hellblade 2 has been a success. Ninja Theory has managed to craft a revamped and refined version of last year's already impressive title. While there are obviously still divisive factors regarding the concept and gameplay devised by the British studio, Senua's adventure is worth experiencing for anyone looking for a short but intense experience, now more than ever.

8 / 10.0 - Artis Impact

Artis Impact is a deeply moving adventure, the result of a labour of love that shows how much a single developer can tell us about the world. The journey with Akane and Bot is sure to draw you into what will be a short but intense adventure.

Bungie, give us a sign. On the one hand, Boundary of Destiny manages to renew enthusiasm for a boundless narrative universe that still has a lot to say. On the other hand, the design and gameplay choices are ineffective: from these two points of view, it is one of the worst expansions in the entire history of the franchise. If the future of Destiny 2 starts here, it's not a great start.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is an exceptional experience in its own right. Smooth controls, fantastic level design and perfectly balanced boss battles make it one of the best 2D action platformers you'll find. The title offers plenty of fun and challenges for those who want them, while remaining accessible to newcomers.
