GameOnly's Reviews
I am delighted that during my adult life, I was able to return to Nosgoth once again. However, this nostalgic journey wasn't perfect due to the presence of both technical and visual bugs in the game. Nevertheless, one can overlook these issues because the game's atmosphere, world-building, and story more than make up for it.

During the game, I had a really good moments, as the battles with bosses can be very satisfying. The interesting combat system and well-designed characters and bosses are unfortunately not enough. A good RPG should also have an interesting world, engaging side quests, and diverse locations. Unfortunately, Fairy Tail 2 lacks all of this, appearing as if it was made in a haste. It's a pity because the game had a lot of potential that was not properly utilized by its creators.

Besiege Console Edition, although not outstanding, is a very enjoyable title, perfect for quiet winter evenings. The game works well both in short sessions and during longer ones. The only thing left to complete the experience is hope that the mentioned technical issues will be fixed in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend Besiege to fans of construction, destruction, and those who love to tinker!

Songs of Silence is a bold attempt to refresh the somewhat stiff genre of turn-based strategy games. It shines bright at the start, but unfortunately, the title loses appeal eventually due to the shallowness of its systems.

The Thaumaturge blew my mind. Since Vampyr, I've missed a dark tale that captivates with its sad and gloomy city atmosphere. This time, we're dealing with Warsaw, which makes this title even more appealing to explore. The biggest flaw of it seems to be the combat system, which requires significant refinement. Despite that, I still had a lot of fun.

Songs of Conquest, contrary to first impressions, is not a modernized version of Heroes, despite many similarities. This game aims to carve out its own path and isn't afraid of innovative solutions. It's one of the few titles from this year that I will continue playing even after writing this review, as the game is incredibly engaging. Even when your eyelids are closing because of fatigue, the syndrome of "just one more turn" keeps circling in your head, asking you sneakily to play even more.

LEGO Horizon Adventures has some positives. The title is perfectly suited for younger audiences, offering friendly humor, beautiful and colorful graphics, and plenty of accessibility options. However, other players might feel unsatisfied due to repetitive content and the short playtime. I have no doubt that it could have been done better.

The fact that Dragon Quest III still shines, even 36 years after its original release, shows that we are dealing with a truly outstanding game and an excellent remake. It's a production that deserves to be listed by UNESCO because besides the fun of playing it, it also provides aesthetic experiences akin to visiting an art gallery.

The creators have captured the atmosphere and the nuances of Japan culture as well as possible. Even the voices we hear when choosing almost anything in the game, are typically Japanese - sweet and amusing. In the case of such a cheerful production, this is a huge advantage, which once again emphasizes that this is a game for people of all ages, fully Family Friendly. With many songs available, everyone should find something they like, and the available modes will certainly provide plenty of joy.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is a very successful refresh of the original. The introduced changes are not particularly groundbreaking anywhere, but they make a noticeable difference during gameplay. The game looks and sounds better, and the gameplay has greatly benefited from expanded gestures, facial expressions, and new movements of the heroine. If you didn't play it Horizon, then this remaster is an excellent choice. However, if you already know her story, then there's not enough new content here that could make you immerse yourself in this world again.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is one of the best entries in the series. It features an excellent, intense multiplayer mode, and an interesting campaign. If it weren't for the somewhat boring zombie mode and the poor choice of maps, we could be talking about an almost perfect installment. Nonetheless, it's a very solid shooter.

Red Dead Redemption on PC is the best edition of John Marston's adventures one can play. In terms of music and story — excellent, graphically it falls short compared to modern titles, but in terms of gameplay, it remains exceptionally enjoyable. It's a brilliant western, causing both bursts of laughter and tears, while also skillfully addressing many issues like racism, immigration, and human rights. A beautiful, personal story in the Wild West that's slowly getting more civilized.

I was expecting just a decent RPG, but what I got was an outstanding game that kept me glued to the screen for hours on the end, and charmed me with its atmosphere. This is a game that summons memories of times when there were no DLCs, and games were not used for showcasing individual ideologies. Instead of dividing fans with different views, they brought them together in an adventure to save the world. Congratulations to the creators who skillfully combined classic elements with modernity.

Mirthwood was the title I was most looking forward to this year. The delay in its release disappointed me greatly, but today, the only thing I am disappointed with is the state of this production and all of its unfulfilled promises. I might return to it later, because I see the potential in it, and perhaps, like No Man's Sky, The Mirthwood will get fixed through the patches, but right now, it's simply not worth your time.

Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream has failed both as a game in the series and as an ARPG title. It lacks quite a bit even in comparison to free games in the same genre, and unfortunately, the developers themselves did not put in the necessary effort into this title. If you're a fan of Sword Art Universe, you can check it, but in any other case just choose another game.

Until Dawn is a good remake of one of the best interactive horrors in gaming history. The great and suspenseful story can surprise anyone, however, the very high price and lack of a performance mode are big cons here.
