Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is a well-deserved and worthy sequel. Ninja Theory has delivered a spectacular narrative, just like its predecessor, along with cutting-edge technical quality, featuring otherworldly graphics and an incredible Nordic-inspired soundtrack. I did miss more gameplay moments, with greater combat depth and a few more puzzles, as in the first game, but these points don’t detract from how amazing Hellblade II is.

Mullet MadJack is, without a doubt, the best experience I've had in 2024 up until the moment I'm writing this review. I already knew I could expect good things from the game, since frenetic boomer shooters are a type of game I love passionately, but I didn't expect it to click so well with me. Its criticisms of the system, the retrowave aesthetic with anime influences, and the synthwave soundtrack fit together masterfully, creating an incredible experience that you don't see every day. Now, I want a mullet.

Dying Light 2 is clearly inferior to its predecessor. Its story fails to excite, with disappointing characters and a soulless, depressing city that stands in stark contrast to Harran from Dying Light 1. However, the game excels brilliantly in gameplay, being even more enjoyable and fluid than the first, both in parkour and combat. For those seeking a deep post-apocalyptic experience, it’s important to note that this won’t be found here, but it’s still possible to have fun.

Everyone has their own controversial opinion, and this is mine! Yes, Miles Morales is better than the original! Despite being shorter than the first Spider-Man and obviously having less content, Miles Morales offers a more concise experience, taking full advantage of everything it has to offer. One of the best hero games I've ever had the pleasure of playing.

Evil West doesn’t bring significant innovations and has its issues, but it excels in fulfilling what games are meant to do: provide fun for the player. Its combat is extremely satisfying and filled with challenging moments, and when combined with the charismatic characters encountered throughout the campaign, it results in a simple yet enjoyable formula. While it may lack polish in some areas, the overall experience is solid.

The final verdict, after all this, is quite clear: we have here one of the hidden gems of the original Xbox. Its concepts make it a completely unique game, an experience that, unfortunately, no one has managed to replicate to this day. Phantom Dust excels in almost every aspect and offers an experience far ahead of its time. Microsoft has a gem in its hands that just needs a little care to shine once more.

Arzette is proof that anything can serve as inspiration, even if that inspiration comes from one of the worst games in the history of one of the most respected video game franchises. A meme that turned into a fun and charming game. It left me wanting more, and I eagerly await a sequel in the future.

Notice that Suicide Squad constantly found its balance points: the story is simple, but the characters are incredibly well-crafted. The graphics aren’t impressive, but the facial expressions are outstanding. The gameplay gets tiresome over time, but it’s fun. In the end, the game that seemed destined to be a disaster turned out to be a good experience. I believe that without the GaaS model, with a less repetitive gameplay structure and a more tightly written story, Suicide Squad could have reached greater heights. However, the final result was still positive.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth represents a new milestone for the franchise, combining classic elements with modern innovations to create an experience that feels both familiar and fresh. With its deep storytelling, expansive world, and refined gameplay mechanics, the title solidifies its place as one of the best RPGs of its generation. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a new player, Rebirth offers an unforgettable journey that’s worth embarking on (though you may want to wait for the PC version).

Knowing the Dishonored and Prey franchises, my expectations for Redfall were high, but unfortunately, they were not met. The empty story, graphical issues, completely dysfunctional AI, bugs, and lack of optimization undermined my trust in Arkane, a studio I had always trusted completely. Even if fixes are implemented throughout Redfall's lifespan, the game's fundamental issues will remain. Moreover, it's important to highlight that, despite being available on Game Pass, the R$350 price tag for purchasing the game is significant. This is the first time in its history that Arkane has failed so disastrously.
