Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero masterfully manages to revive the days of Budokai Tenkaichi, bringing that nostalgic feeling with touches of modernity. By embracing the fact that this series is not a fighting game with Dragon Ball characters, but a Dragon Ball battle simulator, we have the true unbalance that allows us to experience Dragon Ball the way it is, with fusions being stolen and Mr. Satan being a meme, just the way it should be.

Neva is a fascinating artistic experience. Its short duration also allows you to find some time to enjoy this experience, at a time when it is becoming increasingly difficult to devote ourselves to our hobbies.

Ys X: Nordics allows the series to breathe new air with its new combat system. Adol's new adventure brings a more mature narrative and makes the franchise's most avid fans see it in a new perspective after certain revelations.

Metaphor: ReFantazio takes a very important step for Atlus, showing that it is possible to do something much more than Persona and Shin Megami Tensei. The entire Studio Zero development team stepping out of their comfort zone and delivering an experience on this level is genuinely incredible.

My journey with Parcel Corps was a downhill experience, unfortunately. Although it has its good moments, especially once you get used to the controls and the map you're on, the whole process of getting there is too exhausting. It's a comic game, always with good humor, but its details irritate me so much that even the jokes didn't make me smile anymore.

REYNATIS is a very ambitious game, with big names like Yoko Shimomura and Kazushige Nojima forming a real dream team. So you'd expect that to mean the game would be perfect, but unfortunately it seems to have been released before it had finished baking in the development oven.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster didn't need to be a remake, nor did it need to drastically update its mechanics. The game itself stands on its unique game design and becomes a great way to see the generational transition from the time of its original release and how it really is a game full of living dead ideas, which in one way or another are in the form of mechanics torn apart by the entire industry.

Copycat's narrative is very impactful and manages to deliver it very well in three hours. You get to know the story of the kitten, the lady who adopted her and the themes of feelings of helplessness, abandonment, depression and responsibility all have an impact here. If I said that this game doesn't do a good job of telling what it wants to tell, I'd be a liar. However, I'd also be lying if I said I was pleased about it.

Star Wars Outlaws is good but it could be better. It's clear that it needed more development time and polish, its systems don't always fit together perfectly and the combat, while good, doesn't go much further. Exploring its contained worlds, shooting with blasters and experiencing a little more of the side that the galaxy far, far away allows us, works well and is much of what Star Wars fans deserve after so many bad releases.

Master Detective Archives: Rain Code Plus is just what Danganronpa fans have been waiting for for years. The game takes elements that seem familiar to those who are already fans of the Kodaka's franchise, but still adds many original elements. It's not perfect, of course, especially with its performance bottlenecks and some bugs that are probably the result of a lack of optimization. However, the expressive characters and dialogue are comical and incredible, and I'd say the best part is that the game is now available on multiple platforms, meaning there's no excuse not to play this game.

The new Playstation exclusive softens hearts with its cuteness and technical and design quality, but it also shows how easily companies can grab us with cheap nostalgia for products that, although of quality, are just a display of grandeur disguised as homage.

The Plucky Squire conquers with its creativity. With its simple and accessible mechanics, it surprises with the way it manages to play with them and, in a very creative way, create new ways of playing. This is a game that, above all, plays with our imagination.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is a great collection. Miles Edgeworth is a very fun character to follow and he works well as the protagonist in these games. It's a well-rounded package with almost everything perfect.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is a trip back in time for those who played the original game. I felt like I was taken back 12 years while following Juliet's journey on my Xbox 360. With an extremely faithful version, RePOP brings the qualities, but also the stumbles of what was created back in 2012, and it will hardly change what you thought of the original game. The work, which is completely self-aware of what it wants to be, delivers genuine and uncompromising fun to those who embrace its madness.

Bloodless is an almost perfect, well-rounded game. Although I felt it needed a few improvements to its progression and difficulty curve and a glossary or something similar to give notes on narrative points, I came away from the game very satisfied. The combat is enjoyable and complex, the artwork is beautiful and the narrative works to keep you interested in seeing the game through to the end.

Directed by the people responsible for the Goemon series at Konami and developed by a studio that has essentially only worked on Nintendo games for the last twenty years, you can only expect great things from it. Even though it doesn't officially carry the Goemon title, I think BAKERU can already be considered a worthy successor to its legacy. Its fun themed stages, interesting collectibles, insane bosses and - above all - the lightness with which this game carries itself from start to finish guarantee an experience whose only word constantly hanging over my head was “fun”. I think that, regardless of the expectations surrounding this kind of “spiritual successor”, it's always reassuring to see that a game has the strength to carry itself, and that's one of the many skills this tanuki has at their disposal.

Visions of Mana is a great example of the variety of franchises that Square Enix has, with creative potential to be explored. The game is a great invitation for new fans and at the same time presents classic fans with references to various titles in the franchise.

Gundam Breaker 4 is certainly... an interesting game. The only thing it has in its favor is the customization aspect so you can take photos and share them with others. But if you don't like the experience outside of the Diorama and perhaps the missions that will be added in future Season Pass patches, I find it very difficult to recommend to anyone.

Cat Quest 3 is a game that puts a lot of emphasis on fun and that embraces beginner players, such as children, very well, and also encourages a cooperative experience. A more experienced player could use it to introduce this genre of games to children, for example.

Natsu-Mon: 20th Century Summer Kid is a game that delivers what it promises, bringing an experience that seeks to transport the player, banking on nostalgia above all else. However, its tactics don't go down so well here in the West when compared to Japan, so unless you want to use this game as a method of learning the language and culture, it might not go down well with the general public. Personally, I loved its constant references to Japanese culture, but for me, they are both a blessing and a curse. Personally, I thought the game was pretty cool at times, but I confess that Natsu-Mon is one of those games that doesn't innovate much in its gameplay, especially when compared to other games in its category.
