Throne and Liberty is an entertaining and well-made MMORPG, boasting spectacular graphics and an active community that brings it to life. However, its lack of innovation in some areas and its potential leanings toward unfair monetization take away some points. Even so, it’s a recommended title for those looking for a new MMORPG with vast landscapes, global events, and cinematics that immerse players in the story. Throne and Liberty is a solid game that, while it doesn’t revolutionize the genre, delivers on its promises: an epic and enjoyable experience, with moments best experienced by diving into its expansive world alongside other players. It may not be the greatest MMORPG of all time, but it’s certainly worth a shot if you enjoy the genre. If NCSoft manages its monetization and future content wisely, it could become a standout title.
