Star Trek: Resurgence delivers an authentic Trek experience with a strong narrative and impactful choices, but its outdated graphics and clunky gameplay mechanics hold it back. While the story and voice acting shine, the technical limitations and unnecessary action sequences make it feel like a relic from gaming’s past.

In the wonderful world of the internet, a game about Gollum has largely been seen as a doomed idea from the start, but I have to disagree. In capable hands, the character could make for a perfectly solid stealth adventure. As a protagonist, this grey trickster is interesting, primarily because of his tragic backstory. Too bad that almost nothing works in this game, and therefore Gollum's Adventure is one of the worst games ever made.

Diablo IV is a difficult game to review because it will be a completely different title a year from now. As it currently stands, it's full of great ideas which are almost uniformly poorly implemented. Give it 12 months, and it'll be something else, and that itself is a double-edged sword.

Street Fighter is one of the oldest and most recognizable fighting series in history, and its latest edition is the best the franchise has ever been. That's an incredible feat few, if any, series can lay claim to, and Street Fighter makes it look easy.

Behind all the technical issues and small misjudgments, there's clearly a great adventure, which, even at its weakest moments, is still fairly enjoyable to play. Unfortunately, bugs and glitches affected quite negatively to my experience with the game, and that is just really frustrating.

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a fantastic purchase for both longtime strategy fans and newcomers to tactical turn-based games. More than anything, it prooves that a great concept never gets old. The updates complement the classic GBA games well, though I do understand that some would have preferred to keep the pixel art intact.

Despite its flaws, Local News with Cliff Rockslide is worth experiencing purely for its unique theme and clever writing. While playing, you can also tell that the studio clearly had fun working on the project. It certainly doesn’t come with a steep price tag either, which makes it even easier to push the purchase button.

I really wanted Redfall to be great, but this is an empty and horrifically dull looter-shooter without a soul.

The prequel to one of the great action game titles out there is a smart and sweet adventure that just works. It's superbly pretty, wholesome, and genuinely fun, even if you're not a fan of Bayonetta's previous outings.

Minecraft is an institution at this point, and while Minecraft Legends doesn't innovate as much as it thinks it does, there's still a lot to enjoy in this strategy-lite adventure for the whole family.

Fire Emblem Engage focuses on just the basics, and for fans, that's exactly what it needs to do. It won't win any new converts, but for everyone who already loves this franchise, Engage offers some of the best thrills and tactical beats the series has created in years.

Metroid Prime is a lovingly crafted remaster of an all-time classic that makes a case for Samus as one of the great action heroes in gaming. This is still a near-perfect title, one that has aged remarkably well thanks to smart quality-of-life updates. A must-buy.

Road 96: Mile 0 strips away the original's roguelike charm, replacing it with a linear story and frustrating skateboarding sequences. While the characters and setting still hold some intrigue, the game loses its magic by ditching procedural storytelling and resource management. The result is a short, uninspired prequel that feels more like a mobile game than a worthy follow-up.

Octopath Traveler 2, the sequel to a flawed but ambitious RPG, improves everything about the original and emerges as one of the best games for the Nintendo Switch. Featuring a sprawling world and cast of unforgettable characters, it's an epic masterpiece that delights time after time.

One Piece Odyssey could have been the game of the year in the early 2000s. Now, it's just a dated relic of a series that's best remembered for what it was, and not what it's become.

Resident Evil 4 is definitely a strong four-star game, and on the list of remakes, it fits nicely in the middle, just slightly behind the outright masterful Resident Evil 2.

Marvel Snap delivers a fast-paced, strategic card game experience with simple mechanics and unpredictable elements. Its non-intrusive monetization and quick sessions make it highly engaging for both casual and serious players.

All in all, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is great action RPG for fans of soulslike games and especially for the fans of the Nioh series. Despite the many comparisons in the review, it firmly stands on its own feet. While Team Ninja has once again crafted an excellent experience, it's worth remembering that soulslikes are not for everyone, and Wo Long doesn’t actively try to attract newcomers to the genre, even though its difficulty level is quite fair—at least for the most part.

The difference between good-bad and outright bad-bad is often a thin red line. Wanted: Dead is clearly the latter, and it doesn't even attempt to be anything else.

Despite its thin plot and small nitpicks, playing Hogwarts Legacy is truly enjoyable. In addition to the main adventure, activities like interacting with fantastic beasts, broom flying and wand combat are all incredibly fun. There’s also plenty of side content – like Merlin’s Trial puzzle challenges, which are quite clever. Although Hogwarts and its surroundings are vast and full of details, I didn’t experience the usual open-world fatigue, because the experience feels so unique. The audiovisual execution is also second to none, with both sound effects and the soundtrack successfully mimicking the atmosphere of the Potter films.
