You’ll find beauty in RUINER if you play close attention. The kind of distorted beauty only cyberpunk settings can give. Of finding hope in its degenerate society and turning senseless violence into something greater than the mere showcase of death. Maybe you will pull its strings or, maybe, they will pull yours. Hauntingly evocative.

While its content is diverse, Cook Serve Delicious 2 is a bit of a letdown due to its lack of gameplay depth.

While its procedural generation can result in some unfavorable outcomes during its campaign, Tooth and Tail shows how to teach basic real-time strategy mechanics in a lovely way.

In a way, ARK lost itself during its development. What started as an interesting survival with dinosaurs experience turned into a PVP wasteland, uninteresting and grindy mechanics. There are some cool ideas under the hood, but not worth the time invested.

Bastard’s Wound goes against everything that made Tyranny a special RPG. Interesting quests are intertwined with tedious dialogue in one of the blandest areas from any Obsidian game.

Fleshed out leagues for single player games plus the option to save mid match and challenging teams to learn makes Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition a must for fans.

Even though its strategic layer lacks depth, Battlestar Galactica Deadlock makes up for it with its beautiful and increasingly complex tactical combat. A must for any Battlestar Galactica fan.

While its procedurally generated levels are one of the most beautiful i’ve ever seen, Songbringer fails on making its gameplay and, especially its combat, a compelling experience.

Silly to the extreme, Rock of Ages 2 makes significant changes to its mechanics, offering a more well-rounded tactical experience for both single-player and multiplayer modes.

While the strategy layer remains mostly the same, the variety in classes and tactics makes War of the Chosen a worthy XCOM 2 expansion.

An amazing depiction of a decaying society through the eyes of a broken man. Cyberpunk at its finest.

Sudden Strike 4 forgets what made the franchise great, a solid single-player content. With its lackluster campaign, bugs and terrible unit pathfinding, its best to skip it and play the classics.

New maps and enough weapon variety to warrant more depth makes Nidhogg 2 one of the best when it comes to local competitive games.

A fine mix between a character progression system and challenge that doesnt fall into the same pits that other games with procedurally generated areas tend to. Coupled with an amazing artstyle and impressive boss battles, Sundered is easily the best effort by Thunder Lotus Games so far.

Calling The Long dark a "survival game" is not enough. It is a thoughtful, moving experience about loneliness in the wilderness, how to respect nature in order to be respected by it. Easily one of the best, if not the best, in the genre.

While its strenghts lie in its fast paced and satisfying combat, Redeemer adds too much half-baked mechanics to its campaign, turning into a frustrating and repetitive experience.

Lack of depth, average story and repetitive mission design makes Aven Colony a great looking, but bland city builder.
