If you're a Dark Souls fan like me and think that you will continue to play it for years to come, then this is the version you really have to have.

It would be a nice game if it could keep its initial atmosphere and tell its story in a tidy way, but fails to do so.

5.5 / 10.0 - Fort Solis
Aug 23, 2023

As a Unreal Engine 5 showcase it's exquisite, as a sci-fi TV series (or a movie) it's not bad, but as a game it fails. If you're hoping to be scared, thrilled or immersed in a gripping story, reconsider your expectations.

Navegante tried to be brave, but at the same time, he got his hand used to the coward. That game could have been a lot more polished, the beautiful story felt like it was just a little wasted.

This should not have been the way for PC players to meet the Ninja Gaiden Sigma series, all these port-related problems shouldn't have overshadowed the fun of the game. It seems that we will continue to be skeptical when the words Koei Tecmo and PC come together.

6 / 10.0 - Draugen
May 29, 2019

Draugen manages to surprise player at one point in its story, but fails to keep pace after that. You'll like it if you're looking for a short, calm and relaxing game (thanks to its gorgeous views), but prepare to be disappointed if you want a real adventure game.

6.5 / 10.0 - Moons of Madness
Nov 17, 2019

Moons of Madness tries to fit too many different ideas into a single game and that's the exact reason why this game is just average; not too scary, not too fun. Still, a nice alternative for those who like Lovecraft mythos.

6.5 / 10.0 - Layers of Fear 2
May 26, 2019

Although it aims to achieve the opposite, Layers of Fear 2 isn't superior to the first game. Jump scare tactics and slowly revealing story saves the game to some extent, but it doesn't bring anything new to the table.

6.6 / 10.0 - Call of Cthulhu
Dec 1, 2018

This isn't the 'ultimate' Call of Cthulhu game we've been waiting for a long time. Still you may give it a chance and see it for yourself.

6.9 / 10.0 - TARTARUS

The debut game of Abyss Gameworks has some very nice and unique ideas but fails to deliver its full potential. The fact that it makes you ask for more means Abyss Gamesworks is on the right track and I'm quite sure we'll see some bigger games from them in the future.

7 / 10.0 - Cookie Cutter
Jan 23, 2024

If you are a Metroidvania fan, you can give Cookie Cutter a chance and immerse yourself in its colourful world with plenty of gore. But keep in mind that there are some features that fail in terms of gameplay mechanics.

7 / 10.0 - Moonscars
Dec 22, 2022

Black Mermaid understood the ideas that made the 2D Soulslike genre successful and added new mechanics that reflect its own identity. If it didn't have flaws like story being too messy and combat having balance issues, it could have made its mark among the best examples of the genre.

7 / 10.0 - Thymesia
Aug 23, 2022

With a higher budget it might have been a game that could make a name for itself, but unfortunately it doesn't go beyond being a snack for Soulsborne veterans. Still, it's not a bad choice if you're a gamer who is keen on meeting this genre.

7 / 10.0 - Loopmancer
Aug 2, 2022

It's hard to say that Loopmancer has brought any innovation to the roguelike genre, but it tries its best. The branching and decision-making parts of the story are pretty good, but there are lots of places where it falls short in terms of narration.

7 / 10.0 - The Quarry
Jul 13, 2022

A game that starts slowly and ends fast is The Quarry. The story it tells is very beautiful, the acting is very nice, the voice-overs are number ten, but it lags behind other Supermassive Games games in terms of gameplay elements.

7 / 10.0 - KAPIA
Feb 21, 2022

Frankly, I wouldn't mind a new game set in the Kapia universe. It can be quite enjoyable to play a game that is more polished, technical difficulties are eliminated, more details are entered.

It's a beautiful mystery story that you can enjoy much more if you think you're reading a Hercule Poirot novel, not playing Hercule Poirot.

7 / 10.0 - Growbot
Nov 18, 2021

It's like someone tells you a fantastic children's tale set on a botanical space station, and you fall asleep while you close your eyes and imagine that you're the protagonist of that fairy tale. It's such a serene but simple adventure.

7.5 / 10.0 - Sovereign Syndicate
Feb 1, 2024

If you're looking for a game that follows in the footsteps of Disco Elysium, Sovereign Syndicate is a good choice. With its steampunk London, colourful characters and intriguing story, it is a good book, I mean, game.
