If you think of the Nintendo Switch as a portable, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an incredible leap for the series compared to Mario Kart 7 on 3DS. If the Nintendo Switch is your home console, then Mario Kart 8 Deluxe offers the same great experience as it did on Wii U with some added perks of battle mode and a resolution uptick. The art of racing is nearly perfect making Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a must buy for any Switch owner, but we still feel the game lacks balance at the higher competitive levels as some characters simply outperform others.

Talent Not Included is the type of platformer we’d get if Super Meat Boy, Trine, and Super Mario 3 dripped their creative juices into a game. Set in the fantasy land of Notthatmuchfurther, our heroes are simple actors giving the performance of their lives. Literally.

Both of our reviewers agree that Twilight Princess is a worthy purchase if you a) are a Zelda fan or b) if you own a Wii U. The visual upgrades are better than advertised even if the biggest Zelda game of all time still feels a little barren. Overall we’re a little hard on the classic Zelda remaster as we wish Nintendo did more to the address problems with the actual game and environments than just providing some nice visual updates (like they did with Wind Waker).
