I'll sum up by echoing Jemma from our original review – this game is “Snipperific!”

Dillon's Dead-Heat Breakers has turned into a nice eShop surprise. Why Nintendo isn't releasing this full priced game as a physical copy (in North America anyway) is a mystery. In fact, I'd like to see the entire trilogy compiled for a 3DS physical release or reworked for the Switch. Either way, Dillon's Dead-Heat Breakers is a game I can put in a good word for.

8 / 10.0 - Unravel Two
Apr 21, 2019

If you're a genre fan, Unravel Two would be a very good choice, even more so if you have someone to enjoy its puzzles with via co-op. While some of its choices didn't quite hit the bullseye –  much of the folk music clashes with the on-screen action – it offers a solid amount of high-quality content. And again, Unravel Two will leave you thinking, which is another plus.

8 / 10.0 - Detective Gallo
Oct 25, 2018

Much like its title character, Detective Gallo is a game that manages to grow on you and is a pretty easy purchase for genre fans.

While the content is light, Toy Stunt Bike: Tiptop's Trials is quite fun while it lasts. If you're drawn into mastering the game, like I was, it will last much longer. If you're looking for a game to make you grin and chuckle, $4.99 is pretty cheap for this joyful little romp.

Cabela's: The Hunt – Championship Edition turns out to be quite a good game for what it is, with its authentic approach to hunting. I played it through to completion. It's available as a $49.99 package with a solid plastic gun. If that larger peripheral isn't your thing, the game can be found alone for 39.99 which I think is fair for what's here.

Puzzle Bobble is a habit-forming game to be sure. Actually, that's probably an understatement. This arcade original launched a series that continues to keep me addicted to this day.

While I still have some concerns with Team Sonic Racing, I can't deny that I've come around to it. I've sunk over 15 hours, across several extended play sessions, and had quite a bit of fun doing so. The $39.99 launch price is more than fair for what's included here. If you're looking for an enjoyable alternative after playing Mario Kart 8 for the past five years, Team Sonic Racing smoothly drifts its way to a decisive silver trophy. Start your engines!

8 / 10.0 - Mindball Play
Mar 29, 2019

While the linear design coupled with high difficulty is worth noting, the challenge leads to very satisfying gameplay. Mindball Play is a good-sized game, with polished aesthetics, and high replay value. This marble racer deserves a look.

If you played the original game on the Wii, you'll have to ask yourself how much the new extras, admirable though they are, trump the missing multiplayer. However, for those yet to experience it, it's certainly worth picking up Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn on 3DS. It's a high-quality package with charming aesthetics and a good amount of content for the price that should keep you playing.

8 / 10.0 - Homo Machina
May 1, 2019

This "fantastic journey through the human body factory" made me smile. Homo Machina is a very concise experience (perhaps an hour or so) but one that's priced appropriately on the Nintendo eShop. While the puzzles themselves are so-so, this eye-catching game is positively wrapped in charm, and I suggest you add it to your Switch digital library.

8 / 10.0 - Astro Bears
Aug 8, 2019

Sometimes it's hard to tell how much weight a game will carry once your done reviewing it and have moved on to new titles. In Astro Bears' case, the passage of time has proven my initial assessment wrong to some extent. The game has endured with me and my friends as a multiplayer attraction, and this new iteration is even better. It's dropped part of its original handle, but Astro Bears is more a party now than it's ever been.

A shorter title, Bitlogic – A Cyberpunk Arcade Adventure will nonetheless likely appeal mainly to older gamers. It successfully mixes genres in a great setting with a good soundtrack. It effectively draws you in with unlimited ammunition, no time limit, and well-spaced checkpoints, to balance the atypical lack of jumping.

8 / 10.0 - Mini Trains

If model railroads hold any type of appeal to you, I think this is a very good puzzle game. It's one that stands out due to its theme, offering challenging fun, and packed with charm.

Creature in the Well excels. It’s launching at $14.99, and considering I’ve sunk nearly a dozen hours into it, that price seems more than fair, even if the difficulty isn’t always.

8 / 10.0 - 80 Days
Oct 3, 2019

Instead of "just one more chapter" 80 DAYS will have you saying "just one more playthrough". It might also have you wanting to revisit Jules Verne's novel. It comes recommended to booklovers and those desiring to a digital taste of the valet lifestyle.

Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King is an admirable package. While some game editions are missing (and Lion King fails to hold up) this bundle shows the kind of care I long to see in all re-releases. It's worth it for Aladdin alone, while the extras should tempt those on the fence.

As someone who hasn't played Shovel Knight since the original release, I found Showdown to be a very good return. It's grown on me quite a bit, and if you're a fan of competitive or co-op multiplayer games this could be considered a must. While offering less for the solo player, I'm confident the gorgeous pixel art, wealth of options, and unlockables will still prove satisfying.

Zen Studios has brought the usual amount of quality care in updating Pinball FX3 with this latest DLC pack. While the table trio varies in enjoyment, even the "worst" is still really solid. Williams Pinball – Volume 5 is a very good collection, one that could likely be considered a must for big enthusiasts.
