Taking a jump to 3D from 2D is always risky, however Kirby and the Forgotten Land avoided all the possible pitfalls and creates a solid foundation for the games to come, considering it's already one of the best titles in the series.

Combining an action roguelite and tile matching puzzle game into one game is pretty wild, but Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon somehow makes it work really well and the result is a very fresh and quite addicting title.

If you don't mind that Happy Game is not a traditional adventure game, but something akin to a short interactive surrealist exhibit, you'll find it to your liking. However for some, even the creativity at display will not outweigh the primitive gameplay and structure and short length.

We probably expected a something bit different, but if you judge Super Meat Boy Forever on its own merits, it's a very solid auto-runner with precise controls, variable levels and pleasant graphic style, with a level of difficulty that can deliver the same sense of satisfaction as the original game did.
