75 / 100 - Mato Anomalies
Mar 10, 2023

Mato Anomalies brings us a well-measured mix of genres, without much fanfare, but showing correctness in all the aspects it shows, resulting in a very enjoyable game as long as we like visual novels and Japanese-style role-playing games. It won't change our lives but it will give us a good handful of hours of entertainment.

Relic Entertainment has not disappointed with the latest installment of Company of Heroes. On the one hand, it has continued to do what lovers of the saga have enjoyed so far with the African campaign, but not satisfied with that, they bring us a second campaign that represents a twist and a very valuable addition with a huge and dynamic map with a development Totally different playable and more reminiscent of other games. Company of Heroes 3 is practically a 2 for 1 in the genre and a totally recommended purchase.

The guys from Adglobe keep bringing us unexpected gems after that ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights. On this occasion with Redemption Reapers they share part of the setting but they completely veer from the genre, although they do it, again, with a wonderful bill. The graphics, very nice, the music, with the necessary epic that extols the whole, some cinematics that finish putting the tie and a playable development that, although it does not come to revolutionize, like its story, they easily fulfill what is expected .

85 / 100 - Wanted: Dead
Feb 14, 2023

The creators of the first two Ninja Gaiden and several Dead or Alive installments bring us an attempt to return to those times in the current generation. Released for XBOX One, XBOX Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC, and with some aspects to be polished but that seems to have been resolved in the version that we have been able to play, it does not impress audiovisually, but it is convincing in terms of playability once the system has been mastered of combat, giving us a lot of satisfaction in this aspect. Undoubtedly a recommended option to spend a few good hours enjoying this love letter to the sixth generation of consoles.

Age of Empires has been an institution and this definitive version comes to give it a new facelift, not only improving the audiovisual quality but also increasing the content to the point of madness in a title that was already replayable in its different modes and lasted hours. and hours of fun. Its inclusion in Game Pass, cross play and the option to use keyboard and reason round off this version. If you have not yet had the pleasure of enjoying the game in its previous versions, now you have no excuse.

90 / 100 - Hi-Fi Rush
Feb 1, 2023

Hi-Fi RUSH has been not only a surprise, but a very pleasant surprise. It cannot be hidden that in this writing we have been enthusiastic about the proposal of Shinji Mikami's team, who has shown with this game a versatility unknown to date. If you like third-person action games and you value the spice of using well-known songs and keeping the action at their own pace, you can't miss it.

Analyzing a compilation is, as always, a combination between the selection of deliveries and the quality of the port as well as its extras. In this case, the selection of the Wonder Boy Anniversary Collection could not be more complete, the extras are required and the ports comply with ease. A compilation that every fan of the franchise should own.

85 / 100 - Pentiment
Dec 1, 2022

Pentiment is a game with a modest budget and equipment, which does not mean that it does not achieve a high standard of quality. During the approximately fifteen hours that Pentiment can last, we will be able to immerse ourselves in the life of a 16th century abbey and in the life that surrounds it. Its peculiar style helps to achieve this and, if we approach it with the right mentality, we can enjoy it from the audiovisual, plot, environmental and development perspective of the adventure.

85 / 100 - Evil West
Nov 21, 2022

The guys from Flying Wild Hogs offer us with Evil West an interesting setting and polished gameplay. A certain variety and depth in the development, a story that will not change our lives but that accompanies us and, above all, a fun game that is worth being in our collection.

80 / 100 - Let's Sing 2023
Nov 18, 2022

Let's Sing 2023 does not come to reinvent the genre, nor does it need to. It limits itself to offering what everyone expects from a title like this and it does so with the required invoice. The selection of songs in these cases is crucial and very personal, but perhaps it is a mixture that could have been decanted or defined a little more. What is clear is that Let's Sing 2023 will be able to perfectly accompany the Christmas holidays and give us several very funny moments with friends or family.

Marvel's Spiderman: Miles Morales arrives shortly after the port of the previous installment to PC, and it does so with the same technical improvements. This autoplayable expansion puts us in the shoes of a different Spiderman, who is learning the trade, and for around 8 hours it will give us practically more of the same, as expected in an expansion, which in this case is more than enough. Perhaps it would have been nice if Sony's releases, this one included, had a physical version -that is, with a box and disc, although it must be associated with Steam or Epic-, or if, since it can only be purchased digitally, perhaps they could have adjusted the price for an expansion is better, something that each user should value.

70 / 100 - Yum Yum Cookstar
Nov 15, 2022

Yum Yum Cookstar is a game that knows which audience it is aimed at and is executed with ease and will delight the little ones in the house. It's visually pleasing, the music is above expectations, and the variety of mini-games in the preparation of the recipes is enough to keep our little ones busy for quite some time. The difficulty and execution are very well adjusted although being intended for the public that is, the fact that the acid comments of the judges are only dubbed into English and without subtitles makes the game lose part of the grace and identity of which they can enjoy in English-speaking territories.

75 / 100 - Floodland
Nov 14, 2022

Vile Monarch brings us his latest game with Floodland, a post-catastrophe city builder where the choice of our clan and the decision making will determine the future of the game. It has certain touches that give it originality and the fact that the creation of missions and islands is random will allow us to replay it several times.

If it ain't broke, don't break it. That could be the summary of Football Manager 2023. A delivery that is based on the previous one, which already rests on the shoulders of a long list of improvements that it has undergone over the years delivery by delivery, and brings us other new and succulent ones such as UEFA licenses or the new template management. Whether you are a lover of the saga or if you have not played it until now but are looking for a soccer management game, do not doubt that it will satisfy you.

Tactics Ogre: Reborn is the latest improvement on the game originally released on the Super Famicom, ported to PlayStation and brought to PlayStation Portable as a remake. Using this latest version as a base and adding Spanish to the texts -apart from voices in Japanese and English-, modifying the controls and the combat GUI and some other improvements, we find ourselves with the best possible version of a title that was already an institution in the genre beyond the personal taste of each one. Tactics Ogre: Reborn will give us many hours of fun and challenges in equal parts. Totally recommended.

80 / 100 - Grounded
Sep 28, 2022

We all know that Obsidian is a great company that has us used to great products. Grounded is something different from what we're used to and it's a rather particular game that not everyone will like, but if you're just interested in the premise of survival and a feeling of loneliness that it proposes, you should give it a try.

Already in its day in the analysis of the Turrican Flashback we commented that evaluating a compilation like this implied evaluating, on the one hand, the quality of the port itself, on the other the additions or extras, and of course the selection of deliveries. Where the previous installment was notable for its absences, the combination of both Anthology finishes rounding off the product with an impeccable playable port, with options that allow us to configure it with the maximum fidelity to the originals or with the maximum improvements, a series of very interesting extras such as the director's versions, the score attack or the remastered soundtracks, and this time yes, a complete selection of the best of the best that will satisfy lovers of the saga and serve as a great entrance for they didn't know her before. The only but that we can put is that everything did not come in a single cartridge.
