Dandy Ace is a colorful, magical action roguelike that’s consistent in its design and fascinating in its unique theme choice. With its card combination system for skills at the forefront, it can offer some good hours of fun and experimentation during battles.
Generally speaking, the Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind PC port is very solid. With several adjustment options, it is easy to adapt the action RPG for a good experience. In addition, the game itself brings a fluid and interesting combat that demonstrates very well the series' evolution over the time.

Bustafellows is a great representative of the fascinating stories visual novels can tell. The narrative features a strong lead and a cast of handsome boys with dark pasts that create this endearing tale. Still, it’s a story on society’s shortcomings, which makes it relatable in many ways as we ask ourselves what would cause us to take matters into our own hands. While some design choices seem odd in this release, this otome is an easy recommendation from me.
Toodee and Topdee is an excellent game that combines two classic genres in a creative and fun way. With stages that offer varied challenges and unique bosses, it's an experience that draws attention and is worth playing.

Super Robot Wars 30 is a game that any fan of strategy games and giant robots needs to experience. With a fair amount of represented artwork, a well-written story and well-produced combat animations, finally having a western release of the series is a dream come true.

Presented as the new Apex of 2D action, Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 is a really high quality work in the genre. Though its initially lower difficulty and infinite healing system may annoy a few veterans, it's a game that offers frantic action and allows any kind of player to enjoy its beautiful stages in their own way. It's an instant classic.

Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream is an excellent addition to a high-quality RPG franchise. Although the final stretch ends up weakening the experience a little by taking longer than it should and making progress difficult, it clearly shows the great skill of developer Gust and any RPG fan should give the game a chance.

Syberia: The World Before is a fascinating point-and-click. With breathtaking ambient designs and a story that highlights the horrors of war and hatred, it's a title that's worth diving into. Though there are a few small issues, I believe they do not diminish the worth of this work which definitely left me intrigued to also check its predecessors.

fault - StP - LIGHTKRAVTE is a beautiful visual novel about a young boy discovering his place in the world. AI: The Somnium Files - NirvanA Initiative is an excellent new entry in Switch's adventure games library and a sequence that's exactly what one should expect from a title written by Uchikoshi. Though there are some inconsistencies in the plot and clear over-the-top circumstances, the high quality is undeniable, going even deeper into the possibilities its predecessor hinted at.

Disgaea 6 Complete brings with it a fundamental evolution to the strategy RPG series. With the possibility of automating combat, it has never been so easy to dive in and enjoy the rewarding feeling of the series. For people who never played any of the previous games and veterans who are running a little short on time alike, there's no doubt this is the ideal entry in the Disgaea franchise.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 is an excellent example of how to make a competent action platformer gameplay for both newcomers and veterans. Kirin is a fast character and the technical aspects of her moveset allow her to become a machine that obliterates enemies and flies through the stages as long as the player spends some time mastering her abilities. For fans of the genre, it's a must-play, just like the whole Gunvolt franchise.

Taisho x Alice: Heads & Tails is an excellent addition to the narrative and complements the original visual novel well. With a high-quality English text, it's easy to laugh and feel truly engaged in the reading. This title is easily recommended to those who played the series' main episodes and, to those who haven't yet had this experience, I leave my suggestion of diving into this fairy tale from the beginning.

Tactics Ogre Reborn brings back a classic strategic RPG in style. It is an essential game for any player, although some specific choices of the new edition make it difficult for newcomers to enter the genre. Even so, Tactics Ogre continues to show not only the competence of its creators, but the great possibility of games in general as art and reflection.

Despite the impact not being as big as its predecessor, River City Girls 2 maintains the high quality as a beat 'em up.
