Alexandre Galvão's Reviews
Valkyrie Elysium, like other action RPGs, is an excellent choice for anyone who likes fast, dynamic combat with good doses of challenge. On the other hand, it's an experience that doesn't live up to the legacy of the series it represents, bringing one of the least interesting stories in the franchise, a monotonous and tiresome game progression, and a very questionable overall value. A game that, unlike its predecessors, doesn't deserve Valhalla.

The mixture of visual styles of Prodeus, combined with agile and responsive gameplay, results in something that we can call modern nostalgia. If you enjoy FPS games in general, but you want to take a walk in the past to kill the desire for a title with a retro feel without appealing to the obviousness of the classics, this is the game you are looking for.

Jack Move is a modern JRPG that pays homage to its origins by bringing a very casual experience of a genre that usually demands a lot from players with a well-written plot, well-built characters and simple gameplay to master. It is great for those looking for a less demanding, but still satisfying, experience in this classic video game genre.

SD Gundam Battle Alliance is yet another product that suffers from the stigma of anime-based games, as it has elements that will be better used and valued by those who enjoy the original product. Despite the great quality with many elements to please the fans, the repetitiveness and lack of inspiration in the progression does not contribute to attract the interest of more players, even those who don't even know what a Mobile Suit is.

The Last of Us Part I brings everything the game deserved to be in 2013 with visuals, mechanics and features that provide a great experience for both veterans and newbies in this universe of intense stories and outstanding characters. Fully standardized with Part II, this is a remake that we didn't need, at least for now, but one that is very welcome to keep alive one of the most important products in the global gaming industry.

Cursed to Golf is a fun roguelite experience that brings a new, fun and challenging golfing twist. Charming and with a simple gameplay, the already accentuated difficulty could be alleviated thanks to a more efficient use of the game's camera and a checkpoint system that encourages the player to want to finish the game without having to go through so many hardships

Thymesia is an interesting title for those who already know the soulslike genre but aren't ready or don't want to go through so many hardships in more demanding games of this type. Its main highlight is the agile and competent combat system that encourages the player to maintain an offensive posture most of the time in a more modest, but still very challenging, soulslike experience that will yield good hours of gameplay.

The roguelike is a niche genre that has been gaining more space in recent years with great games that challenge players around the world, and luckily we can include Gwent: Rogue Mage in the list of those worth checking out. If you are a fan of card games and enjoy The Witcher universe , then welcome to this challenging experience with lots of content to unlock and different strategies to try to win.

Train Valley: Console Edition is a game that manages to convey a very casual vibe, with hints of competitiveness for those who want to complete it. However, the console version does not bring any real improvement that justifies its acquisition by those who, at least, have already played or own the PC version. On the contrary, the gameplay in this version is much more laborious, contributing to a quick disinterest in the game.

Krut: The Mythic Wings presents a strong example of lazy level design, poor gameplay and questionable quality. It is difficult to point out positive things amid so much that shows that this is a low quality product.

F1 22 remains a benchmark in the racing simulation genre with a true-to-life experience of the weather, driving and adrenaline of the motorsport elite. Despite bringing more updates than innovations, it is still a great recommendation for anyone who is a fan of car racing, especially Formula 1. The game does not disappoint in relation to previous years' editions, but it runs the risk of being outdated in 2023 if it doesn't bring something that makes the player more engaged.

Pocky & Rocky Reshrined is a honest new take on a classic from the 16-bit era bringing back that desire to play a challenging and fun game with a friend for many hours. However, for modern standards, it doesn't offer enough content to keep you engaged for long. It lacks the multiplayer option at first, doesn't offer extras to keep you coming for more and it may even feel like there isn't much to do after completing it once. It's nostalgic but that isn't enough nowadays.

The Hand of Merlin is an interesting addition to the roguelite genre with a turn-based RPG true to its principles. Although it doesn't take full advantage of the mythology it brings in its name, it fulfills its role with a challenging game that will please a good portion of players, whether veterans of the genre or not.

Trek to Yomi is a fitting tribute to a cinematic genre in video game form. Movie fans will be happy to see beautiful photography and stunning scenery. Action game fans, on the other hand, have solid gameplay at their disposal, despite minor flaws in the mechanics, with a fair degree of challenge and a seductive replay factor.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga really is the biggest LEGO game ever made. One of its highlights, besides the humor and gameplay, is the exploration that's more engaging than ever, prolonging our journey through this universe for an immeasurable amount of hours finding out things even the most hardcore fan of the franchise may have forgotten. If you never had a LEGO game experience before, this is the best place to start.

Undoubtedly, Aeterna Noctis is one of the best metroidvanias today. Its biggest highlight is due to the rich mythology that was created for the game, along with a gameplay that is both challenging and rewarding. A sure recommendation only for long-time veterans of the genre.

Imp of the Sun has a friendly and even childlike face, but behind it we have a game with a satisfying level of challenge, surrounded by beautiful visuals and a great reward upon completion. It's not memorable at all, but it earns its place in the sun among today's good platform titles.

The player's encouragement to look for creative ways to solve the problems that arise along the way, along with the engaging narrative that encourages you to go to the end of the story to know how this fable will end, are the main merits of Weird West. The ramifications of the narrative are a strong stimulus for us to return to this world more often to see what else can happen, and what new surprises are waiting for us. I can't wait to see what awaits me on a new tour of this dark western.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is a great addition to the list of numerous titles and genres already presented by the franchise over 35 years of history. The game unites mythology and gameplay in a strange way, but it works. It lives up to the reputation of Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo Games when it comes to action, delivering a product that has the responsibility to honor the franchise. Yes, it is unlike anything that has been done with the franchise and has its reasons for being a Final Fantasy game that only has its name on the cover. However, in the end, the game is audacious and it's able to leave the franchise's comfort zone.

Project_Hel is a subtle but competent expansion of the Ghostrunner universe to hold the player a little more in this electrifying gaming experience. Despite not innovating much in the mechanics, the new stages raise the level of challenge that already seemed to have reached the limit in the original game to a formidable, and stressful level.
