Gridlink is a fun, relaxing puzzle game that is free-to-play and a ton of fun. There’s literally no reason not to play it. It’s a perfect way to wind down. I think the only thing I really want from Gridlink is a mobile version. I didn’t see one, so I don’t think one exists, but that would be a super fun way to play it. I really like how intuitive and easy it is to get started. Even the hardest of the puzzles don’t feel impossible; they are just challenging. My biggest complaint is how long it took me to notice there actually was a Dark Mode in the menu, which is not the dev’s fault at all, trust me. I can’t recommend this simple puzzle game enough; if you like puzzles, go and download Gridlink right now.
Bits at Work is a simple concept with simple art that is just done very, very well. I love it, and it’s one of the more fun little games I’ve gotten to play lately. If you adore fun little idle clicker-type games or decorating a little pixel office, I can’t recommend Bits at Work enough. For what it is, you can’t get another better than this!
There is so much to love in Cards of Heart and little to dislike. It’s free; it has great art, good sound design, and a great message. My number one critique is that therapy was never once mentioned. Although it is expensive and not accessible to everyone, therapy is good to mention to help tear down the weird stigmas we have about such things (in the USA, especially).
If you are looking for a Solitaire-like game that is fun and relaxing, Cozy Solitaire is a great choice. It’s cute, fun to play, and very chill. If you are looking for a difficult challenge with timers and obstacles to make it more challenging, this one is one you will want to skip
I adored Asfalia: Fear. It was fun, funny, and heartwarming. It felt like playing a higher-quality cartoon with excellent voice acting, fun dialogue, and even more fun sound design. There were a whole bunch of characters to meet, and each of them were interesting and unique. The world, the backgrounds, the flora and fauna of Asfalia made it feel like a real world. I didn’t really have any issues while playing, and I had a lot of fun with the puzzles, though there wasn’t much challenge for an adult. I think I will gift this little game to my niblings next time I get the chance; I think they will love Asfalia: Fear as much as I do!
If your only complaint about a game is that there aren’t enough levels, that’s usually a good sign. I would love to see more levels added to Cat Needs in the coming months. I had a whole lot of fun with it, and it was a pleasure to play. I would recommend this game wholeheartedly to anyone who loves puzzle games and cats. It’s a cheap little game with a lot of heart, very well-made and polished, and super fun to play.
All that being said, Merrily Perilly is probably the most fun I’ve had playing (and watching a game being played) in a long time. It’s silly, funny, colorful, and a real puzzle game. With the exception of the one dialogue option, the whole game is an absolute joy to play.
Overall, there just isn’t that much to complain about. LoopIndex is cheap fun that’s worth sitting down and playing solo and is even more fun with a friend. While it’s not going to break records or make history, the game is well thought out and put together. Also, since LoopIndex is available for just about every single platform that anyone could want it on, players can sit down together and play regardless of what consoles they own. I would recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a fun puzzle experience to share with someone.
Overall, Bai Qu is everything it sets out to be. It’s deeply emotional, beautiful, story-rich, and charming. The music and the art are stunningly beautiful, and even simple things like the screen transitions are polished. There’s just not enough good things to say about this wonderful game. With a good English editor, this game could be the best visual novel I have ever played.
Overall, this is an amazingly unique title with a lot going for it. Toodee and Topdee is one of those games that, although it has little replayability on your own, you’ll want to share with a friend through co-op play. It’s one of the most interesting puzzle platformers I’ve played in a long time, and I can’t recommend it enough to fans of the genre.
Doomsday Vault is cute, short, and sweet. It’s got a great message and an adorable little spaceman you get to control. The puzzles are fun, and the dev has promised more puzzles are on the way. Overall, I love this game. The only thing I dislike is the price.
That being said, the game is overall very solid. It’s easy to learn, difficult to master, and filled to the brim with smart puzzles for anyone who loves a good who done it story. If you like trying to solve the murder before the end of a mystery book or try to pick out the culprit before the TV show or movie ends, you’ll dig this game in spite of its eccentricities.
I really like this game. It’s a word search puzzle that’s been upgraded and modernized. What’s not to like about that? With a couple of tweaks, this game could be an amazing addition to anyone’s library. I do hope they add this game to mobile; I would be adding it to my phone as soon as it was available.
I loved this game. It felt so incredibly personal that I could feel the emotions of Bo and Ao. They are both great characters, and I fell in love with the little apartment that they were so attached to. Also, you can pet the cats in this game. There is nothing I love more than to pet animals in any game! Overall, I really liked this game, and I think it’s worth a try for anyone, gamer or not, who loves vibrant stories.
Pathfinders: Mini Words is an adorable little game with a lot of educational value. It’s cute, it’s fun, it’s easy to pick up and play. There is a lot going for this cute little game, and anyone with kids should pick this one up. It’s perfect for a car ride or waiting around in a doctors’ office.
Overall, the game is unique and fun. It’s pretty, it’s short, and its sound design is amazing. The cards are gorgeous, the characters are well-drawn with fun costumes. Players will have fun for all 15 hours of this JRPG. That being said, the game was a bit of a letdown in the price department. Had the game been $10 USD cheaper, I would have hailed it as a great achievement and a fabulous JRPG for anyone who loves them. However, it just doesn’t feel like a $30 game to me. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves old-school RPGs with beautiful graphics and loves to replay games to complete all the content.
For anyone who played the demo like I did, they may be worried about bugs. Thankfully, all the bugs that seemed to be present in the demo haven’t appeared for me in the full game. It’s a much better experience now than it was before. This game is fun, funky, and a fresh look at simple cooking and farming sims.
Stamina in games is something that I could complain about for days, but overall, it doesn’t completely detract from the game. It’s still a masterpiece of art and video game design. With a few less bugs and a couple of tweaks, this game could be absolutely perfect. I loved my playthrough and would suggest it to just about anyone who digs a chill game with a relaxing atmosphere.
A Tale for Anna is a short, sweet six-hour game filled to the brim will hidden objects and mini-games. It’s bright, colorful, and a lot of fun. This is probably the best hidden object game I have ever played. I was surprised by how charming and lovingly crafted it was. An excellent game for the genre!
I loved this game. I love Slay the Spire and Roguebook and everything like it. I also love ancient Japanese myths. The art style of this game is so great too; I couldn’t help but love it. If it didn’t have the few grammatical mistakes I saw and the one, game-breaking glitch, it would have been a near-perfect title in my opinion.
