Critic Reviews for Murder Mystery Machine
Murder Mystery Machine could be a great distraction from the usual adventure games. Its emphasis on deductions rather than evidence gathering turns it more into a puzzle game than an adventure game, and it genuinely makes you feel like you're working things out for yourself. The problem is it's held back by several design issues that didn't translate well from mobile platforms to console and these can dilute the fun.
Murder Mystery Machine has its flaws, but it's packed full of content that should please puzzle fans, especially those who have a fascination with crime shows. While the outcome of individual cases may be easy to guess, the player still needs to back up their opinion with proof, adding an extra small challenge as it forces the player to think on a more detailed scale. Additionally, while the smaller cases may be predictable at times, the larger story heads in a direction that is entirely unexpected, tying together Murder Mystery Machine and making it surprisingly engaging as a result.
Murder Mystery Machine is an enjoyable crime-solving adventure with a decent story hook. Just watch out for strange controls and weird noises.
Murder Mystery Machine is a cool position, although it aims at a specific niche. Fans of crime stories can find some good here. Solving subsequent cases can be very addictive, but there is something missing here that will remain in the memory. It's a pity, because there was potential for something more unusual.

Murder Mystery Machine does a pretty good job of what it sets out to do, especially when it comes to the setting. It's not a difficult game, but it does require some investigative (and deductive) skills to get a perfect performance, which makes it challenging at the right level. Its flaws can be easily fixed, its interesting story is entertaining, and the hours spent in front of the TV will seem like just a few minutes. I totally recommend it!

Murder Mystery Machine is a solid whodunit with an engaging storyline and a campaign that puts you in charge of solving 8 interconnected cases. Having said that, it's ultimately quite linear which makes the gameplay feel a little inconsequential at times.
The fact I had a lot of fun with Murder Mystery Machine despite its myriad of issues is a testament to how strong its gameplay loop and core concept are.
That being said, the game is overall very solid. It’s easy to learn, difficult to master, and filled to the brim with smart puzzles for anyone who loves a good who done it story. If you like trying to solve the murder before the end of a mystery book or try to pick out the culprit before the TV show or movie ends, you’ll dig this game in spite of its eccentricities.
