Mario Tennis Fever works best as a party game: 2-4 players, lots of excitement, and constant reactions to Fever Shots. Fever Rackets really change the game and add a cool layer of tactics, especially in doubles. The problem is that the content unlocks quickly, and Adventure mode is more of a drawn-out tutorial than a full campaign. If you're looking for a “couch” title, it's definitely worth it, but don't expect exceptional solo fun.

If you complain that today's game developers don't want to take risks and are guided by what's popular, take a look at Romeo is a Dead Man. On paper, little of it makes sense, but in practice, it turns out that every piece fits together perfectly.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is a project that was realized after years of requests from fans. However, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio didn't stop there and tried to exceed expectations, which resulted in them taking two steps forward and three steps back.

NiOh 3 is a classic example of a sequel: highly polished, incredibly satisfying in combat, but not necessarily revolutionary. The dual-style system, fluid attack combinations, and well-designed bosses make every victory genuinely enjoyable. The graphics are solid, and the cutscenes can make a great impression... although it's hard to say that the game stands out from the rest of the genre. It's primarily a treat for fans of the series who know what they want.

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is the comeback fans have been waiting for for years – with a long but atmospheric prologue reminiscent of the new anime season and a truly enjoyable story mode in which we gradually revive the spirit of soccer. Along the way, we encounter the typical JRPG grind, repetitive mini-games, a slightly disjointed second half of the story, and a few design missteps, but the excellent match system and the clearly noticeable development of the team effectively compensate for most of the problems.

A bit of classics. A bit of newness. And a whole lot of enjoyable gameplay. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is Nintendo's next strong offering in 2025 – a production that no fan of the universe or loyal supporter of the franchise will be able to ignore. Most importantly, even a younger, completely new audience has the chance to discover the distinctive Metroid magic that has built the legend of Samus Aran for two decades.

Unfortunately, Project Motor Racing doesn't deliver the expected quality and can't truly compete with Gran Turismo 7, Assetto Corsa, or other simulators on the market. While it doesn't play badly, some of its features are beyond my comprehension. The AI, which runs like it's on rails, is the biggest drawback, but it also lacks more content, a more extensive career, or better graphics on consoles. Although there are no frame drops, we feel a certain dissatisfaction. It's clear the developers still need many updates to get it all right.

Kirby Air Riders is a colourful, chaotic and surprisingly tactical racing game that won't be for everyone, but if you like this unusual driving model, you can get stuck into it for hours on end. It works best with family or friends, offering lots of fun and great replayability.

The atmosphere of Tormented Souls 2 is unmistakable, and the game's old-school mechanics are sometimes enjoyable, more often frustrating. In other words, this is a very successful sequel.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a polished, dynamic, and surprisingly emotional spin-off that proves that the world of Zelda can shine outside the RPG genre. Although it doesn't offer anything revolutionary in terms of the musou formula, it makes up for it with its storyline, direction, and atmosphere, which keep you glued to the screen for dozens of hours. Nintendo have delivered a passionate production – repetitive in places, but consistent and faithful to the spirit of the series. It's a game where the pleasure comes not only from the combat, but from the return to Hyrule itself.

A beautiful story that didn't get a perfect refresh. The creators could have tried harder.

The latest installment in the adventures of the wayward Szymek undoubtedly has a lot of charm. Besides its polished audio and visuals, the title offers tons of naughty humor and two gamepad control options (both of which are effective). If only the plot were more interesting and the whole thing a bit longer, it would be hard to find fault with anything.

The Outer Worlds 2 may not revolutionize what we saw in the first installment, but it significantly improves on familiar elements. If you're in the mood for a great space opera with a satirical twist and RPG elements, you should definitely give this shooter a try.

Ninja Gaiden 4 is a brutal, spectacular, and incredibly satisfying return to the iconic series, reminding us why fans have longed for Ryu Hayabusa and the world of ninjas. PlatinumGames has delivered a dynamic combat system, fluid animations, and a diverse arsenal that make every battle a pure pleasure. While the story and Ryu's role are disappointing, and the ending loses momentum, the overall experience is redeemed by excellent gameplay and a constant sense of power. It's a great return for a critically acclaimed IP.

Double Fine has once again delivered a beautiful, unique, and moving adventure. Keeper is a game with soul, the kind that is sadly becoming increasingly rare these days. Grab it and play it, because it's pure gold!

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is exactly what this series needed – a fresh idea, technical refinement, and new energy. The developers finally dared to combine experimentation with classic elements, creating an adventure that is engaging, looks great, and proves that the world of Pokémon can evolve without losing its identity. It's not perfect – the pace is uneven and the difficulty level is too conservative – but it's still one of the most satisfying installments in the series in years.

Battlefield 6 is best divided into two parts - a story campaign that is unsatisfying in many respects and an excellent multiplayer mode that shooter fans will spend hundreds of hours playing.

Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 on Nintendo Switch 2 is a pleasant reimagining of two classics that still impress with their inventiveness and gameplay. It's primarily aimed at new players and younger audiences, as series veterans will find more of a nostalgic return than a revolution. It's great fun, but the price should be lower to truly appeal to a wider audience.

Ghost of Yotei is exactly what we've come to expect from Sucker Punch – a beautiful, polished, and incredibly atmospheric tale of revenge that perfectly fits the tradition of PlayStation exclusives. Atsu delivers as a heroine, combat can be truly intense and satisfying, and the world – despite some shortcomings – is delightfully detailed. At the same time, it's a conservative title: no bold decisions, no revolution, and a finale that leaves a bit unsatisfied. It's a classic, solid Sony production – great to play, though without any memorable moments.
