I usually am not a thriller or horror fan, and I can honestly say I love this game. The way it moved me throughout, making me feel a great deal and a broad spectrum of emotions, really speaks to this game on another level.
Overall, God of War on PC has improved over the PS4 release. With the added graphical fidelity and the addition of widescreen, ray tracing, and DLSS support, PC players now get to experience one of the best titles from the PS4 in even higher definition and better framerates
The immense detail and story and overall thought that has been put into this game is astonishing. I am not ashamed to admit I am at over twenty playthroughs of this game, and I will most likely play through it again before the release of Spider-Man 2. I am glad that this title has been made available to the PC community and that it has been given new life in another space. The mod community has been having a great deal of fun placing their spins on both severe and funny suits, and I cannot wait to see more people enjoying it. In the words of Jeff Winger, the premise alone is priceless. The guy has the powers and strength of a spider."
The love and care that has clearly been put into this and the previous title can be felt the whole way through. I am so glad that the PC fan base can now experience the charm this game offers.
The Cub is releasing early in 2024, but it's starting the year with a masterpiece and playing this has made me want to explore more games from this developer, Demagog Studio.
I've been keen to play Cult of the Lamb for a long time, and it hasn't disappointed me. The art design, audio and gameplay loop remain satisfying, while the concepts and the base building create enough things to do to round out the gameplay so that I never felt bored. The team at Massive Monster should be proud of their achievements, and I cannot wait to see what they create next.
Playing Omno was a great way to unwind; I found myself lost in this enchanting creation between the uncrowded world, the charming fauna and flora, and the melodious music.
The game hits the right story beats to bring home a winner. Once I started playing it, I did not want to put down the controller until I discovered Abby’s fate. The narrative and narration are top-tier, the world-building and gameplay are phenomenal.
Riders Republic is one of the more fun things I have been looking forward to playing and relaxing with after a big day. There isn't immense pressure to win every event, and the progression happens with or without it.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is a game that many of us Pokémon fans have wanted for a long time, and although it isn't perfect, it is a step in the right direction.
Sonic Frontiers is great, but it could have used some polish in some areas. In saying that, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Sonic Frontiers. The game feels like almost anyone could enjoy it. Even as a lapsed fan, I could follow the story and feel for each of the characters, and most of their plights were relatable.
While One Piece Odessey might not be for everyone, it had its hooks on me. The gameplay is fun but can sometimes be repetitive, and there are times when I wanted more variety, but the story was solid, and that's what kept me coming back.
Firewall Ultra has quickly moved itself to the regular playlist at my home. The game's fun and unique style of combat over other FPS titles on the market make for some interesting matches and tactics.
Assassins Creed has taken many forms to date, but this has been my favourite, a return to its roots while taking many of its adaptions and changing the title for the better.
Love Colors has the perfect balance of art and gaming that I love and has been an excellent choice for me to enjoy during my spare time, lunch hours, and relax after a long day at work.
A great addition to any games night, with no need for fancy controllers, and enough variety that there is a game for everyone.
KarmaZoo is great for relaxing and is an excellent way to wind down after a long day by yourself, or with friends.
While the game has its negatives, I have enjoyed it, and I hope others will too. My experience was mostly positive, and it was definitively easier with a second person on the controls.
While turn-based tactical battle games are not my forte, I did enjoy my time with the game. The hard-won battles felt earned, and the losses taught me to change up and improve my strategies.
In summary, while Diablo IV has been released with a few annoying issues, the gameplay is enjoyable, and I enjoy the story. Unfortunately, the game hasn't been able to keep me invested after the story was complete.
