Shin Megami Tensei V feels like a natural symbiosis from Nocturne and Apocalypse, packs on it a lot of new features and solves some of the problems of the older games. The verticality and collecting are extremly fun, the story is great and offers interesting characters. It only suffers a bit from being exclusive on the Nintendo Switch

A Plague Tale: Requiem improves in just the right places. The graphics have been improved, the gameplay and mechanics are better implemented, and everything is a bit bigger and more spacious, but without losing the focus. The focus is still on the immersive and exciting narrative, the characters and their conversations. Only rough technical issues like screen tearing and stutters spoil the picture from time to time.

Evil West is a linear oldschool action festival with a story you can easily skip through, good sounddesign and some challenging gameplay. The amount of possibilities during the fights and the variety in the different sections bring lots of fun. If you are looking for that, you'll have a great time.

The worst you can do as strategy and marvel fan is, to not give Marvel’s Midnight Suns a chance. It often doesn't feel lik a game that should be fun because of some failings in the presentation, technical aspects and dialogue but the fight system, lots of rewards and the team building mechanic are so well made, that you forget about all the other shortcomings.

One Piece Odyssey finally brings fans of the original a well-deserved implementation. The battle system works great, the story combines new things with nostalgic emotions, and the graphics are also very pleasing. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty continues the familiar formula of the Nioh series and transports the whole thing to the Chinese era of the three empires. The new gameplay, which is purely based on counterattacks, brings so much fun and freedom that you can easily overlook the story, the somewhat inflationary loot and the fluctuating difficulty level.

Dead Island 2 continues where its predecessors left off. The new gore system adds a lot to the game, but the bottom line is that it stays true to its formula and doesn't really reinvent anything. Boring mission design is more than saved by the massive variation of enemy variants and the very fun melee fights, and fans of blunt butchery should grab it anyway. Hell-A!

Miasma Chronicles is pure tactical fun. It shows a strong understanding of what turn-based games of this type are all about. Because when it comes down to it, it's full of the decisions, trade-offs and per-move rewards that are so important in the genre. Exoprimal has a great basic structure. Fun, varied classes, great visuals and a crazy setting. However, since the story should be blatantly ignored and the variety leaves something to be desired with only one mode, the game can only be unreservedly recommended for GamePass so far. Atlas Fallen is a difficult case. On the one hand, there's great surfing through the sand, fun-heavy combat and extensive gameplay style customization, as well as all sorts of things to discover in the open world. On the other hand, there are boring characters, a far too serious and predictable story, repetitive mission objectives and artificially difficult battles. Thus, the game can only be recommended if you lower a few expectations and are aware that it gets clunky and lacks variety in some places. Because the fun of the game is really only a layer of sand away most of the time.

Fort Solis is a thrilling sci-fi thriller experience that keeps you enthralled at all times, along with great voices and an immersive atmosphere. It doesn't reinvent the genre, nor will the story completely blow you away, but the execution is fabulous and graphically impressive. It is held back by a few inconsistencies, such as the final act, but is still without a doubt worthwhile for any fan of science fiction or cinematic games.

Lies of P not only has an excellent atmosphere, great visuals and the coolest Pinocchio ever, but also enough peculiarities in terms of gameplay. It skillfully sets itself apart from its roots and is probably the best Souls-like game that doesn't come directly from From Software. Only the focus on blocking and some other mechanics really hold the game back.

In its best moments, The Crew Motorfest offers an incredibly great-looking and fun racing paradise, which gets a lot of variety from the playlists. Unfortunately, boats and planes hardly take place, NPCs are annoying and microtransactions are strangely omnipresent. However, those who can stand it and even like online multiplayer will have found their virtual vacation spot with Hawaii.

Payday 3 takes a big step forward in what has been the sole field of heist simulators. The new stealth mechanics are motivating, the gameplay has been improved and the heists are varied. However, there are still some drawbacks in the current lack of content, the AI and the general polish. However, some things are already being worked on, so that Heist fans will soon be able to let off steam here.
