Tuttle: Star Flower Harvest is an excellent little game. Despite the frantic nature of the gameplay, it is strangely relaxing as a whole. That being said, it is by no means brainless action; it requires concentration and strategic thinking. Despite my initial somewhat reservations, I found myself hooked on the game, and I’ll keep playing it for quite a while.

Hidden Cats in New York is an excellent addition to the Hidden Cats games. It offered me a relaxing and fun distraction from everyday life for a few hours. I can only wait in anticipation for the next game in the series.

Liked-a-lot - Fall of Porcupine
Jun 29, 2023

Some people complained about Fall of Porcupine being uneven tonally. I don’t feel like that. The game looks light-hearted, but the topic is a resident caring for patients in a derelict hospital. For what it’s worth, I think that the tonal switches were handled beautifully. There is warmth, fairness, and humanity in the relationship between the characters, and for that alone, I recommend Fall of Porcupine.

Glass Masquerade 3: Honeylines is a great addition to an already great game series. While it is an absolute must for fans of the games, it also makes for a great entry for new players to join in on the fun. The game is guaranteed fun with its gorgeous art, beautiful music, and smooth controls. I can hardly wait and hope for Onyx Lute to release some DLCs to go with the game.

Liked-a-lot - Hello Goodboy
Jun 8, 2023

Hello Goodboy shows a remarkable sensitivity to a painful topic from the beginning by warning the players that while the story is light-hearted, it can still be painful to someone who has lost a precious person. In that matter, it heavily reminds me of Spiritfarer (2020). Hello Goodboy is a memorable cozy gaming experience that is definitely worth trying out.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a gorgeous and fun addition to a great puzzle platformer game series. I highly recommend it if you are a fan of the original trilogy or are in the mood for a truly magical platforming adventure.

Tell Me Your Story is a heartwarming homage to our grandparents and their roles in our lives – by loving us and watching and helping us grow, telling us stories, and imparting us with life-learned lessons. This is a game that goes straight to my cozy go-to list of games, with the likes of Unpacking and Minami Lane to pick me up on a rainy day.

Echoes of the Plum Grove is a charming addition to the well-populated farming/survival sim games genre. While none of the gameplay mechanics are particularly novel, the game’s unique look is sure to attract quite a few fans. At the same time, the game offers more than enough content to make you stay in-game for several seasons.

Since discovering productivity apps, I’ve spent quite a while testing some of them. My daily app is Virtual Cottage, but now, with Spirit City: Lofi Sessions, a worthy opponent has arrived. Between its cozy esthetics, the potential for more customizations, and the integration of other YouTube playlists, I can spend time with Spirit City: Lofi Sessions.

Between Horizons is an excellent combination of my favorite genres—sci-fi and detective mystery. It is a well-crafted game that shows great attention to detail and care. It’s a short game: it took me about 4 hours to complete it: but it also has a lot of replay value with its multiple endings. So, if you like sci-fi and investigating, do try Between Horizons; you’ll like it as much as I did.

With Hidden Cats in Berlin, we have yet another winner in the hidden cats genre. I am always excited to play this game series and urgently await the next title. Hidden Cats in Berlin is a great addition to an already great series, and if you need extra incentive, it’s also 20% off until the end of March.

Regency Solitaire II is an excellent game in a great game series. The gameplay is balanced well- it’s challenging, but more is needed to get stuck. The art and music are beautiful and well-suited to the game. You should not be disappointed if you like card games, solitaire, costume dramas, and historical romances. Me personally? I can’t wait for the next game in the series. Meanwhile, I’ll go and reread The Nonesuch.

Loved - Minami Lane
Feb 28, 2024

Minami Lane is easily one of the cutest and most “coziest” games I’ve ever played. From the moment I started it, I was immediately reminded of another cozy favourite of mine – Capybara Spa, but to be honest, Minami Lane is easily the better game. It perfectly balances challenge and cuteness with enough quirkiness and cats to satisfy any cozy games fan. My only gripe is that someone should’ve warned me to get a bubble tea to have on hand while playing Minami Lane.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is one of my favorite games from the last few years. It’s dynamic and colorful; it has a story and heart. It makes you think and care about its characters and story. The only thing I don’t like about this game is that it still has no sequel.

The Talos Principle 2 is one of the best puzzle games I’ve played recently. It is also one of the best and most thought-provoking sci-fi stories I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. I can’t recommend it enough.

While Meow Moments itself, in the way it is now, has little replayability value, the fact that it is free more than makes up for it. Besides, the developers promise to add a lot more content shortly. What’s more, the level creator can also be used to create new levels and challenges. If the new DLCs keep the quality of the main game, Meow Moments has the potential to become a go-to hub for hidden object/ kitten games. In any case, it’s a game that is more than worth it for fans of the genre.
