After a solid debut chapter, Tell Me Why: Chapter 2 doesn't keep the momentum going. There are pleasant individual character moments between twins Tyler and Alyson Ronan, who remain the undisputed highpoints of the game, but the rest of the cast suffers as a result. Tell Me Why wants to paint an emotional tale of struggle and growth, but Chapter 2's experience is stunted by overuse of the Bond mechanic and the decision-based icon sapping any tension.

Overall, between contemplative sequences, rather intense moments, reflections on forgiveness, on the concept of family and on self-acceptance, the second chapter of Tell Me Why accompanies us, with sufficient curiosity, at the gates of a final episode called to definitively close the curtain on the troubled history of the Ronan, revealing what is currently the biggest mystery of the game: once the "why" of some events has been discovered, will the two brothers be willing to accept the truth?

After a great start where the setting of the Ronan Twins and the tragedy at home is depicted, Episode two isn't able to live up to the expectations. gameplay consists mostly of doing some chores and even a scene at a police station that should have been thrilling comes down to doing more chores. If you hopedTell Me Why would pick up speed, you'll be disappointed. All in all, not a very good follow-up episode.

Tell Me Why is turning out to be a gorgeous game. The first chapter was wonderful but Chapter 2 breeds a narrative of acceptance and learning to love yourself that I think everyone needs to experience.

‘Family Secrets’ slips off the lid on the Ronan home and its secrets, but it certainly hasn’t spilled all of them just yet. As a middle chapter, everything is set in place for where the final chapter is headed.

Not a single choice I made felt like it had any consequence, and with one chapter remaining next week, the fact that it’s the last one is really my only motivation to finish. The first chapter started with such a high note, so we can only hope it all ends on a high note too.
