Yuppie Psycho: Executive Edition
Critic Reviews for Yuppie Psycho: Executive Edition
Whether or not you enjoy puzzle adventure games, Yuppie Psycho: Executive Edition is worth a try for its spooky ambiance, laugh out loud humor, and amazing plot. It might have poor gameplay in some sections, but that poor gameplay is overwhelmingly outnumbered by great moments. Add in the many fun, visually distinct characters to meet, and there are very few reasons to skip Yuppie Psycho. This game will have you charmed from the first scene all the way to one of the seven endings.
Yuppie Psycho: Extended Edition places players in a surreal corporate hellscape. A brisk horror adventure crosses grim visuals and dark humor while providing hours of new content and context.
Yuppie Psycho Executive Edition may not be the scariest game you’ll play all year, but it’ll probably be one of the most scintillating stories of corporate culture gone rancid ever told.
It’s creepy and it’s kooky, mysterious and spooky. It’s Yuppie Psycho!
Yuppie Psycho: Executive Edition is an original survival horror in which the office itself becomes an impromptu horror setting. The most everyday elements become our enemies, whom we must dodge, fight and face through an entire building full of secrets and managing the few resources we find. The plot, despite being interesting and well constructed, decides to pick up the pace in its final stretch and is not as perfect as it could have been. Even so, a highly recommended purchase, especially for fans of this genre, with the benefit of the extra content of this edition over the original game.

Yuppie Psycho is able to combine an atmosphere of constant tension with touches of humor under mechanics and a recognizable visual aspect, but at the same time unique.

Yuppie Psycho is an excellent work that does a great job as a survival horror that manages in one fell swoop to be a terrifying and amusing fable of the neuroses of the corporate world. There are many mysteries to seek and secrets to reveal both in the microcosm of the Sintracorp building and in the plot woven with abuse, blood, friendship and absurd humor.
