Dogworld Reviews
Short but highly enjoyable, a well put together game that took classes at the old school. Great soundtrack, a round of ap-paws for Lateralis.
Dogworld can be annoying at times, but it plays well and has an interesting story that makes it worth a playthrough. As long as the crummy bosses don't frustrate you too much.
At its core, Dogworld is a satisfying, cathartic shooter. It's let down by difficulty issues, wonky core design, and some lethal bugs.
Dog is still the best friend of the man, however, in this black and white retro game you must achieve his respect. And it offers good gameplay.

Dogworld is a charming retro-inspired 2D Metroidvania that provides a unique gameplay experience through its aesthetic, story, and mechanics. However, the game suffers from mirroring its retro-inspirations too closely. Still, my general first impressions didn’t fail me, and I found a lot to love about this quirky adventure.
