Critic Reviews for Moto Roader MC
Moto Roader MC is a poor title. With little in the way of quality updates or polish, this game should've stayed a 30-year relic. Even at its budget price, I'd skip this sloppy update.
The pint-sized action of Moto Roader MC is too small for its own good. The almighty Micro Machines have cornered the market on pint-sized thrills, and this single screen racer doesn’t do enough to dethrone the king.
Moto Roader MC is another nice blast from the past from Ratalaika Games. This top-down racer should please those who were fans of it thirty years ago and for those who didn’t it’s worth a look too. It won’t last you long and I think you’re better off getting it if you have local friends to play with but for a few dollars you can certainly do a lot worse.
Moto Roader MC is one super-fun hidden gem from the TurboGrafx library and it's fantastic that more chums can enjoy this classic racer on modern consoles. Keep in mind, though, that it isn't quite as fun while playing solo as it is racing with friends.
At the end of the day, Moto Roader MC is clearly a game meant to be played with friends, and while Switch is the only version that will allow for local 5 player racing, there’s sadly not that much to do solo, even though the mechanics are a lot of fun to mess around with.
Fast, furious, old school retro racing with lots of content and all for a cracking price.
Moto Roader MC is worth picking up if you’re looking for a cheap and casual racing game to play with friends. I don’t recommend it for solo play since the computer players are annoyingly good and there aren’t difficulty settings.
Moto Roader MC is a brilliant racer that I highly recommend if you’re looking for an arcade style fix. Racing games may have evolved a lot over the gaming years but I would probably pick Moto Roader MC over the competition. Sometimes simple still works just fine. An excellent game to enjoy in short bursts alone or with a bunch of friends. The game may be 30 years old this year but its fun core gameplay still holds up incredibly well. This port has converted very well to modern systems. It’s wonderful to see retro games continue to resurface and hopefully, the trend will continue.
