Pretty Princess Magical Garden Island Reviews
I had a solid time with Pretty Princess Magical Garden Island and plan on playing it more whenever I'm in the mood for a delightfully relaxing wind-down after a long day. I'm also happy that it made this mama bear feel pretty which is a nice change of pace.
While it doesn’t stand up well against the more refined farm sims available on the Switch, it’s great starting point for newcomers to the genre
Pretty Princess Magical Garden Island feels like a simpler version of Animal Crossing that focuses on customization and gathering materials.
Still, it’s cute, it’s really chill compared to many games of this ilk, and it’s properly housed. Children won’t be spending extra money on it, and they can put it down at any time with no consequences that aren’t positive. Pretty Princess Magical Garden Island isn’t the game for me, but, if it’s down to this or Tom Nook breathing down my neck over bells, I’m putting on my ball gown and going fishing.
In its style and presentation, Pretty Princess Magical Garden Island is aimed at a young princess-type gamer. I don’t fit that description, but I still enjoyed my time on Carrot Isle. It’s a stress-free dip in and out of the game, which is bright, colourful and full of sweetness.
