Atomic Heart: Annihilation Instinct Reviews
Atomic Heart: Annihilation Instinct still looks the goods, but its linear approach and weirdly limited arsenal is a step down from where we left off.
Annihilation Instinct leaves behind the not-so-great open world elements from from the main campaign. And the yet the DLC don't really fix any of the other shortcoming the game had.

If you're craving more Atomic Heart content with all its underwhelming dialogue and iffy gameplay, Annihilation Instinct may be worth checking out, but even hardcore fans may be left wanting.
Annihilation Instinct can be an attractive addition for those who were completely satisfied with the original game and wanted a little more content, but for those who were waiting for changes to improve the game's many structural problems, it can be a completely disappointing and even weak expansion pack. The game suffers from exactly the same fundamental problems here.

Atomic Heart is a good game, but this DLC is an unsatisfying follow-up to that story. It removes the surprising depth of both the characters and gameplay and replaces it with a linear mess that rarely resembles the far superior original title.
