Critic Reviews for Hyper Meteor
Hyper Meteor rocks as it succeeds at being a fun arcade high-score chaser with a lot of good vibes and enjoyable details. Even if you only put a few hours into it exploring each mode and visual flourish, it's still a worthwhile game. But if you go down the rabbit hole of chasing high scores, you'll be rocketing into meteors for days.
HYPER METEOR’s momentum-based gameplay channels the finer points of Asteroids in what amounts to a unique take on the formula. It’s a bit simple at its core, but it has the underpinnings of being a cult arcade classic.
Hyper Meteor is fast and addictive arcade action. Slamming into enemy weaknesses is simple, but the variety of hazards and increasing difficulty make matches frantic and exciting. The focus is on making long combos and achieving high scores, but other modes bring diversity. Sometimes the randomness and simplicity of the content is annoying, but unlockables, a colorful look and short matches alleviate these problems. In the end, Hyper Meteor is hard to put down.

Keeping things simple works to a degree for this title, but you really need to buy into the hook to get mileage out of it
