Critic Reviews for Station to Station
Station to Station is a relaxing, cozy railway planner with clear goals, flexibility in how you accomplish them, and the absolute perfect amount of challenge. It doesn't try to be anything more than a fun and easy going experience, and the fact you can randomize levels and crank their difficulty up a bit provides some nice variety to how you approach each session. I love its voxel-based graphics so much, the music is soothing, and it just oozes charm. Even failing a level didnāt frustrate, because it just meant I got another opportunity to roll through the blocky countryside and do a little better. Its biggest strength lies in its simplicity, and it doesn't stray too far from that initial gameplay premise. Honestly, it doesn't have to.
Station to Station is an enjoyable, likable railway builder with a beautiful art style and a charming soundtrack.
Ultimately, Station to Station is a very relaxing experience and wonderful for anyone who likes solving puzzles. The style and feel of it all is calming despite sometimes suffering failure and having to restart or reset from a checkpoint. It is a short game, being completed in around 8ā10 hours, but then the custom mode helps to add more for anyone who wants to keep going.
Station to Station has come a long way since the demo and it's clear to see that the team at Galaxy Grove have big plans for the game. I'm quite impressed by just how challenging Station to Station is, and highly recommend any gamer looking for a good (but not impossible) challenge to give this game a red-hot crack. Even if the puzzles stump you, the graphics alone will make the headache worth it, especially when you watch a spider-train crawl its way around the map!
Station to Station is an extremely charming project that will take you away from the hustle and bustle for a couple of evenings.

Station to Station is a fantastic game, with a beautifully calming atmosphere, yet slightly lacking in content.
Station to Station is a fairly novel puzzle game that has some charm to it, and will appeal most to players who enjoy freeform path optimization and experimentation through repeated attempts.
Station to Station is a delightful puzzler that kept me hooked in with its addictive gameplay loop and charming vibe. It was always a lot of fun to plot out my railway networks and bring colour to the world along the way, whilst the introduction of additional mechanics as you progress ensures that thereās always a new challenge to face. Itās never a hard game, but youāll still have to think things through carefully ā especially if you want to complete the optional objectives. The game wasnāt even on my radar before I started playing it for this review, but now, it easily stands out as one of the most charming and enjoyable puzzles Iāve played this year. If youāre looking for an easy-going puzzling experience thatās as pretty as it is enjoyable, you neednāt look any further than Station to Station.
