Softie

Critic Reviews for Softie
Softie is a short, occasionally cute, occasionally creepy, but constantly obtuse point-and-click adventure. Even if its runtime isn’t mean to last for an hour, I got stuck once or twice due to some confusing puzzles and a lack of a hint system. Regardless, it was a merely passable pasttime for a day, one I don’t regret tackling, but not exactly one I’ll remember.
Though Softie is short, it brings simple gameplay, a creepy setting and storyline, and meaningful music. Kristina Springer has my attention, and I’m interested in seeing what other games will be added to the catalogue in the future.
Softie is a game that, despite its imperfections, offers a unique and unsettling experience, thanks to its captivating atmosphere and experimentation with unconventional elements in the point-and-click genre. The story may not always be crystal clear, but the visual and auditory presentation compensates for this limitation. If you’re a fan of indie games with strong character and love the point-and-click genre, Softie is definitely a title worth your attention.
