An excellent Western point-and-click adventure sure to be loved by fans of Lamplight City and newcomers alike.

Rosewater is a highly original adventure game that lets you write your own story through the choices you make and the actions you take. And if you're a fan of westerns, you won’t even notice how quickly time flies on the road.

I enjoyed my time with Rosewater and its characters, although the narrative lacked the strong drive that would have really made it click. The presentation is great, the puzzles are challenging, and the multiple solutions add noteworthy replay value, but I didn't find myself as invested in the story as I had hoped I would be after playing Lamplight City.

Rosewater is a funny adventure with a sympathetic group in the Wild West. And while the journey itself is occasionally a little scruffy, as a whole the game definitely delights.

This Rosewater review alone should speak volumes of how memorable of a game Grundislav Games has cooked up. It would be an understatement to say that Rosewater is the best point-and-click adventure game I’ve played this decade. The wholesome, choice-driven narrative, its cast of colorful and relatable characters, and clever puzzles make Rosewater a tour de force of the genre.
