Chronicles of the Wolf, readers, was a pleasant surprise in this new wave of metroidvanias that we have been seeing on the market lately. The game was built on solid foundations, which seems to me to be a good understanding of what makes the genre something special and, all things considered, quite competent and successful.

Fans of Castlevania will absolutely lap this Chronicles of the Wolf, as it is basically a member of that storied lineage in all but name.
