Critic Reviews for Planet of the Eyes
Planet of the Eyes is a short but memorable trip through a weird-worlds sci-fi alien landscape. The strange creatures and fantastic environments create a nicely bizarre landscape to platform through, and the audio logs give a concise, well-acted story of a ship worker whose only friend is the AI he created.
Planet of the Eyes is a competent puzzle platformer, short enough to be played in one sitting, but with a sterile and empty world it fails ultimately to leave any lasting impression.
Short and sweet, Planet of the Eyes guarantees an evening's worth of entertainment. It's not the most difficult puzzle platformer, but it provides enough of a challenge to stay satisfying as the player explores the mysterious world they've entered. Paired with some gorgeous artwork and solid writing, it's hard not to be won over by the time the credits roll.
Planet of the Eyes makes for a brief but compelling sci-fi puzzle-platformer.
Despite its standard platforming interface, Planet of the Eyes makes for an enjoyable break from the daily grind of your current favourite title. With its colourful expression and quirky art design it manages to charm its way through start to finish, though its length means that it's over all too quickly.
There's definitely room for a sequel, but I'm not holding my breath.
Planet of the Eyes is the typical game that points out good manners but then lets itself be dragged by the ballast of (in this particular case) a ridiculous duration. His resemblance to other classic platform games doesn't give him a special charisma either, although fans of the genre will forgive him.

Planet of the Eyes makes a solid, yet short platformer. Two hours of puzzles more and we'd have much better game.
