Critic Reviews for Stupid Never Dies
As it stands, though, it’s like a meal that starts out excellent, but by the end, you’re reaching for a pack of Pepto-Bismol.
Stupid Never Dies is a highly recommended experience for any fan of hack-and-slash games , unadulterated action, and lovestruck, goofy zombies.

Stupid Never Dies isn't perfect, but it's an incredible charming debut release from GPTRACK50 Inc. that is absolutely packed full of personality.
Stupid Never Dies is an adrenaline rush, something that explodes with colors and silliness and action and pizazz, but doesn’t really aim higher than junk food.
Stupid Never Dies is an acquired taste, but its lurid aesthetic and unhinged storytelling at least gives it a bit of personality in a crowded market. As a roguelite, it's got a good power curve and enough mechanics to keep you coming back, although sometimes its systems and narrative can get in the way of letting you just play the game. It's difficult to stand out in this genre these days, but GPTRACK50 has done enough here to deliver an experience that feels fresh – despite its underlying similarities to other titles in the genre.
While developer GPTrack50's debut title has its share of faults, this roguelite action RPG's art direction is such a tour de force that it drives the entirety of the charming, irreverent atmosphere that hearkens back to the late 90s / early 00s.
Stupid Never Dies has fantastic style and the mindless hack-and-slash gameplay of a PS2 classic, but with all the modern QoL changes we expect in 2026.
Stupid Never Dies is a tale as old as time: you play as the hapless undead, Davy, a low-ranking zombie who happens to fall in love with a girl named Julia.
