Critic Reviews for Stellar Blade Complete Edition
Despite some drawbacks, Stellar Blade stands tall as an impressive and enjoyable action game that occupies a nice niche in the Switch 2 library. Rewarding exploration, thrilling combat, and tough but fair difficulty carry this game far and make it an easy recommendation, even if its story can be a bit bland and the visuals aren't always up to the task.I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a higher-budget game that favours exploration and combat; Stellar Blade excels in its implementation of both and makes a great first impression as Shift Up's entrance into AAA game development.
This port, despite the sacrifices in performance and graphics, proves (yet again) that the console can handle almost anything . Stellar Blade Complete Edition offers a fantastic gaming experience, allowing you to play however and wherever you want.

The Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade is competent but struggles to hit the same heights as the original.
Shift Up had already proven its skills last year with the PC version of Stellar Blade. The challenge was greater this time around, but it's fair to say that achieving a better result would have been pure science fiction.

A game for fans and the consumer’s joy and awe. An example of what games can and should strive for.
Stellar Blade Complete Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2 is a valiant first step in porting a great game onto Nintendo’s newest console. There are some visual compromises that do not interact well with the game’s known input lag, but much of that sluggishness is content that can take some getting used to. This is another excellent port of a high-fidelity modern title that other developers and publishers should look up to as they consider porting their modern titles onto the Nintendo Switch 2.
Stellar Blade: Complete Edition is a good port of a solid game. The story is fine and forgettable, and the characters work but not well enough for you to care about them beyond the fact that there are at least three different endings depending on a few choices throughout the adventure. The adventure itself will drive you to keep playing, as the fights are great when combined with a combat system that works, even though it doesn't seem like it would work on paper. The presentation is also excellent on the Switch 2, making it a good buy for Nintendo-only fans who enjoy solid ports of proven games.
