Critic Reviews for Dragon Shelter
Anyone who enjoys building simulations and has always wanted their own farm with their pets and dragons should definitely give "Dragon Shelter" a chance.

Dragon Shelter is a cute and slow game, a cozy experience where satisfaction will come from the beautification of the village and our refuge, interactions with the dragons that we can put to the task. In return, the game is quite redundant and linear, could have offered mini games even very basic and should have been less cryptic on some tasks.

I was looking forward to Dragon Shelter, but after playing it, my enthusiasm has dropped significantly. In every way, the game feels like an Early Access title, but it isn't.

While it’s playable, it does not feel polished enough for a 1.0 release. Right now, it still feels like it’s in beta. The fact that the developers announced a patch just four days after release makes me hopeful they’ll address some of these problems, but I don’t believe one patch will fix all the errors and design issues. There is something here worth building on; I just wish I had found more of it during my time with the game.
Dragon Shelter works best when you focus on the small wins rather than expecting every system to surprise you: clearing a patch of farmland, getting your first crops growing, building the kitchen, cooking your first meal, meeting your first dragon. Watching the town become a little less miserable. Moments like that give Dragon Shelter charm, even when the broader structure starts to feel repetitive.
