Moadra is an experience that deserves the attention of metroidvania fans, especially those looking for a greater challenge and longing for adventures steeped in sci-fi and body horror. Despite a few missteps in balancing and map navigation, the game excels in its combat, world-building, and boss battles. Gloomsoft delivers an ambitious, fun, and promising adventure that is already establishing itself as one of the most interesting entries in the genre in 2026.
