Sorcery! Part 3: The Seven Serpents is a leap forward in sophistication that, almost miraculously, transcends the static linearity of the gamebook formula and manages to produce a fantasy world as dynamic and exciting as any traditional adventure in recent memory.

Almost as good as Parts 1 & 2, Part 3 suffers from having the player run around in circles quite a bit. That's by design, but it does allow late-game fatigue to develop.

With the involved and great story, lovely art, and multiple paths and outcomes, there is little doubt as to the quality of the game. It is a wonderful story, packaged up as the third part in a much larger, epic tale. It feels a bit short at times, but makes up for it with multiple paths and several ways to handle situations.
