World of Final Fantasy is a masterpiece. The games’ capturing of monsters is very reminiscent of Jade Cocoon and Dragon Warrior Monsters with a blend of art style, gameplay and music that reminds me of Kingdom Hearts. If you have no patience of high pitched voices, cheesy dialogue and wish for something more dark then this game may not be for you. I think this is a great starting game for both old (depending on your level of maturity) and young and is a great starting point for anyone wanting to get into the Final Fantasy series. The game isn’t revolutionary by any means however long time fans such as myself will adore seeing old faces while new players may not understand many of the characters; they for sure will when they go to play some of the main series titles. The game is around 40 hours long with around 100 hours of side quest so if you are looking for something to tide you over until Final Fantasy XV then you should definitely check this out.

World of Final Fantasy is an absolute joy if you’re a fan of the series or a fan of monster-catching titles, but only just scratches that itch that we’ve all been anticipating for Final Fantasy XV.

World of Final Fantasy is far from a perfect game but it is an enjoyable experience. Some of the fans might not enjoy the light-hearted tone and cutesy design of WoFF, and feel like it is a departure from the serious and realistic direction many of the main-line FF titles have strived for; but I say this game embodies the wonder of a Final Fantasy game. It is actually a great way to introduce your child or younger siblings to the “World of Final Fantasy“.

World of Final Fantasy is an exceptional fan service, with an original focus and a combination of engaging and intuitive mechanics that will give you an experience that nowadays is hard to get from a game: a smile from ear to ear that will endure for a good amount of tens of hours. This title is a must for all RPG fans, Final Fantasy fans, or well, anyone that enjoys a good smile!

World of Final Fantasy is a spin-off meant mostly for fans. Its gimmicky take on the usual ATB system is fun and refreshing, but many of its jokes might fly over the heads of unaware players. It can be a risky purchase depending on what you expect as it fails to meet all expectations, but as a lite mix of Pokemon and Final Fantasy, it does a good job.

A fun fan-service heavy game for the Final Fantasy franchise with tons of famous characters popping in for their fifteen minutes. It’s like Pokemon meets Final Fantasy but not as good as it sounds.

World of Final Fantasy is a charming turn-based RPG filled with familiar characters, settings, and music to make any fan of the series happy. While it's adorable setting, interesting story, and new combat mechanics provide hours of fun, it eventually becomes tediously repetitive and the fights become monotonous. Even creating and customizing stacks loses its luster when you start resorting to familiar "tried and tested" combinations. The game could have definitely benefited from a much shorter campaign.
