The Uncertain: Episode 1 - The Last Quiet Day Reviews
Oh, this is a bummer. What a lovely setting for a game, and a potentially intriguing society, as AI develops and perhaps the flaws of humanity begin to be revealed in robotic kind. It could have been a fascinating exploration of the human condition, or just a really nice sci-fi tale.
This hypothetical is begging for exploration and The Uncertain’s first moments do an excellent job of establishing the world and connecting you with the game’s main protagonist.
The Uncertain's first episode has an interesting premise, but ultimately goes nowhere. It has some smart puzzles in its 4 hour run time, but it also has some awful moments and seems like it's scared of trying to stand on its own. Hopefully a second episode can correct some of this.
