Windjammers Reviews
Right here, right now, Windjammers is an excellent port of an absolutely amazing game. And while all the platforms are good, I think the Switch might be the single best platform for it. Between the easily learned mechanics, their smooth compatibility with a single Joycon, and the speed of a match, this is one of those games that is perfect for those magical moments where you just set the system down and start playing with someone.
It’s great to see more gamers have the chance to try out the once forgotten arcade gem Windjammers for themselves. The game strikes that perfect balance of simplicity and depth featuring action so fast-paced and on the edge of your seat, you’ll have a tough time putting the controller down. Best of all though, it manages to make playing with a Frisbee look cool, and any game that can accomplish that is okay in my book.
Windjammers is a blast from the past, for both better and for worse.
Windjammers is a totally unique and simple but enthralling game about competitive frisbee that feels right at home on the Switch.
WindJammers is a totally radical 90s sports game that is a bunch of high octane fun with friends at home or in the frisbee gauntlet online. Master every cardinal direction and become the one true discus God!
Windjammers is back, just as you remember it. And whilst that’s both a blessing and a curse, I’m just glad to have it back, and at a price that doesn’t make me openly weep. If you’re after another game to add to your collection of party titles, you could do a lot worse
Pizza and beer recommended for an optimal night.
Windjammers falls into the category "Easy to learn, hard to master", which makes it interesting for newcomers and veterans. Besides cross-buy and some features like 16:9 and CRT filters the gameplay mechanics will make you come back to the game again and again.

In short this is a spot on reworking of a classic and an absolute joy to play.
The neon 90s aesthetic, with the jammin’ classic soundtrack pair together to whisper the perfect recipe for an overly-extreme fake sport that everyone should try.
Windjammers is easy to pick up and play, but difficult to master, which adds to its addictive qualities. It's best played with other gamers, but also offers single-player experiences.
