While the initial five hour campaign is impressive, the strong community filled with quirky user-generated levels should keep players entertained for many hours after the credits roll; at the price which Curve Digital has set, Stealth Inc. 2 is a steal.

Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones is an extremely challenging and exceedingly well-designed blend of clever stealth and platforming. It builds on the concepts of the original and while it implements a few things I don't like, it's an undeniably unique adventure. It's just too bad that the controls feel slightly wonky and the repetitiveness of the levels gets a little boring as time goes on.

The main game is still undeniably fun, and anyone who enjoyed the first (or likes a good challenge) should check it out. Just be warned, it's an occasionally bumpy ride.

In the end, Stealth Inc 2 A Game of Clones is a fun yet extremely frustrating puzzle game with decent platforming mechanics thrown in. Sure, it will create a sense of controller rage but when you succeed, it's quite a satisfying and a joyful experience because at the end of the day, it's always your fault when you fail. It's definitely a game for those who have excellent patience and want something a little different than the mainstream Triple A titles… send in the clones!

In my eyes, we have a very strong contender for one of the best exclusive games in the Wii U library. It is sadly held back by minor control issues, but those issues are easy to overlook due to the sheer fun that you will get out of the gameplay.

Some will no doubt relish these barbs as further encouragement to beat the system; others will see its steep challenge as a mountain that must be conquered, whatever the cost to their sanity. But for my money Stealth Inc. 2 falls short of the games I'd consider its peers, never quite capturing the simple ingenuity of Toki Tori 2, the nervy thrills of Mark of the Ninja, nor the physical comedic energy of 'Splosion Man. It's just too demanding and too laborious too often. It may no longer be Bastard by name, but by nature it's a bit of a git.

Stealth Inc. 2 is by no means a bad 2D puzzle platformer, but it doesn't stand out in a genre which has had some impressive entries in the past year. Attempts to improve the experience of its predecessor by adding an overworld feel more like padding than an increase in scope and many of its levels necessitate foreknowledge to complete them successfully. Still, there are pleasures to be found in discovering the many facets of the tools and the puzzles do an admirable job of squeezing out their individual potential in clever ways.

If you're the type of person that likes to brag on Twitter about how many times Bloodborne has kicked your backside, then Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones may just be the challenge that you're looking for. Others should pause before purchasing, as your patience threshold will determine just how much enjoyment you get out of this sneaky sequel.

The PlayStation 4 version of Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones is a great example of how not to port a game to a new system.

Stealth Inc 2 can be a really challenging and frustrating experience but it is still a good game that just needed another pass to iron out some of the kinks.
