Spyro Reignited Trilogy Reviews
Spyro Reignited Trilogy brings back a beloved character with visual enhancements that truly delivers across three classic and now cohesive titles.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is the best kind of remaster, striking a healthy balance between nostalgia and innovation, aiming to make the game look and play as good as your memories of it, rather than how it actually was. It’s a great time for everyone regardless of the more nostalgic among us, or people like me who never played the originals.
I think they have done an awesome job with the trilogy, and to see everything that I remember across the three games, is truly magical, and fantastic.
Spyro the Dragon was one of the most acclaimed franchises for the original PlayStation. Spyro Reignited Trilogy brings back the iconic purple dragon, allowing modern and veteran gamers to experience some of the best platformers with a modern touch. The updated visuals give Spyro a much-needed update similar to Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy but like that title, the core mechanics are still as strong as ever. Spyro Reignited Trilogy provides the best adventures from Insomniac Games' creation and shows why Spyro is so beloved.
Spyro makes a fresh comeback thanks to the solid work behind the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. The graphic overhaul from the team behind Toys For Bob is great throughout the whole three titles and will get the cheeky purple dragon some new fans. Constant framerate drops and not so well improved camera controls are the only setback in this otherwise great remaster that also should be checked out by fans of the originals.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy might not be the best remaster to be ever released. But, it sure is a beautiful remake of three memorable games that would keep Spyro fans content. If you haven't played original Spyro games and love classic platformer games, my suggestion is to not miss out on Reignited Trilogy as you would also enjoy adventuring through its colorful world.
